When mine came, every single even numbered disc was rolling around in the box freely. Fortunately, from what I've watched so far, everything works fine. No major scratches, and very, very few minor ones. Still, it's a little disappointing.
Though, I do love the binder itself, and the idea of...
I heard a rumor that J.P. Grosse would be on the cover of both Seasons 4 and 5 (a profile shot and a photo from the rich executives swimsuit calendar), but I think that's still just a rumor.
Now, Angus McGonagle, there's a cover!
Gee, I didn't get that at all. Kermit's always been very excitable. Jim Henson did a few "excitable Kermit" interviews. And, quite frankly, I didn't really see that Kermit was all that excited. His nervous reaction to Dr. Phil reminded me of his nervous reaction to Professor Krassman in The...
Chapter Four
The alleyway outside the Muppet Theater was a typical alleyway, the kind you might find in your own town. Only this alleyway wasn’t in your own town. If it were, then the Muppet Theater would be in your own town, and I doubt very much that that’s the case. The usual rough-looking...
Chapter Three
The canteen at the Muppet Theater was a place where anything could happen, and everything did. That is, anything and everything involving food from a selection of eight menu items (two that were edible). For the average Muppet (if you could find a Muppet considered average)...
Chapter three'll be up shortly. I'm glad you like it! :)
... that's disgusting! :p
Hopefully chapter three will live up to your Gonzo-y expectations...
I think he did that on The Muppet Show. I don't think it was an actual blinking mechanism, but I know Jim would scrunch up his face some so it looked like his eyes closed.
Henson only assisted in Yoda's creation. Stuart Freeborn, the puppet's creator, wasn't used to making puppets, so they helped with some of the minor technical aspects, such as how it should fit the performer's hands. But it was Freeborn's creation.
I think Frank Oz brought that out in the...
Frank Oz designed and (I think) built the original Java Muppets. They are made of tubing similair to that, though I'm not sure if that's quite the same kind. If you own the first season of The Muppet Show, they appear in the episode with Ethel Merman. Watch it with the Muppet Morsels on. If I...
That Electric Mayhem game is neat, but when I open it, the character always stands right in front of the instrument, and I have to guess what notes I'm hitting. If you hit a wrong note, different pictures come up. I don't think I've ever seen the one of Dr. Teeth that comes up when yout hit the...
Sam with shifty eyes would be a great cover! I don't think I would have him in my top picks for the cover, but that would be very creative, and I would not be disapointed in a cover like that. I like the idea of Beaker. I was also thinking a new group shot would be fun, but might not work with...
Gonzo should be on the season 4 box and Scooter should be on the season 5 box. Of all the characters on The Muppet Show, I think Scooter would be considered the fifth main character (during season one, Scooter would have been fourth, and Gonzo fifth).
And if they release the sets that way...
Chapter Two
In their efforts to discover the identity of the villainous fiend responsible for hijacking their funding, the Super Goofs split up.
“Let’s split up,” Super Gofer said. And they did. They went paired in teams of two, each heading their separate ways.
We join our first team...
Late, late at night,
The world sleeps...
And I am here alone,
And here I come some nights
To confront my fears.
They're here, my fears.
They are always with me,
Lurking, scurrying, hiding and waiting.
They come!
And they go.
But though they are gone,
They are never far.
And here...
That technique works very well with certain characters. Kermit's finger grip would likely be something like that because of how small the head is, if he has one at all. He's basically a glove anyway, so "finger slots" would be unnecesary, and would detract from the shape of his head.
I own...
That's a nice way of putting it. That's how I felt about it, and laughed quite a bit when I first saw it. Couldn't resist. It's the perfect example of just how necessary Kermit is.
