At first when I heard that a different cover was posted online, I thought it was a fan-made cover redesign. Then I looked and was surprised that it was new. As somebody who never had a problem with the previous cover, I must say that I do like this new cover better (but mainly because it has...
And then there was the time they killed off James Woods for real, but then they later revealed that he was given special hospital treatment only given to celebrities (has James Woods ever really been that famous, though?) which meant that he's now alive and well again.
Maybe they can do...
One thing I've noticed is that although we've heard that this movie will include a wedding and have seen behind-the-scenes photos for the wedding, that hasn't been in any of the trailers. I guess the closest thing would be that we see Kermit and Constantine in tuxedos in the helicopter scene...
I just found out that along with the most recent format change, you can no longer rate episodes of shows at The AV Club. Why did they do away with the rating system by readers?
The only way I would have expected that would be if it were to include characters owned by Henson and Sesame Workshop as well, but we know it ain't happening.
The first several times I read the description at Muppet Wiki I thought it had said that the book is 200 pages, but after rereading it over and over recently I noticed I am wrong, it actually says 200 characters (I hope that every character who has to share a page with others, whether as a duo...
I know that they do two seasons at a time now, but I think they also do record additional material for the season closer to the seasons broadcast. If they're going to do any topical parodies, couldn't they record those when they get closer to the seasons broadcast?
Then again, even if it's...
Yeah, that's ironic. Back in the 1970s Jim Henson wanted the Muppets to be for adults as well as kids, and so many celebrities who I'm sure most kids hadn't heard of were guests. And now it seems Disney is trying to make them appeal to kids by including stars that the kids would be more familiar...
With quite a few of us complaining about the Muppets working with certain celebrities (and I'm no exception, though I think I've complained significantly less than others), something has occurred to me. Many of the celebrities who appeared with the Muppets when we were younger were there to...
Does Getting Even with Dad have a happy ending for the father? Actually, with the exception of Macully Culkins' character, who got what he wanted (for his father to spend time with him and give up being a robber), did anybody truly get a happy ending?
I mean, he goes to get the coins he had...
With so many of us complaining about certain celebrities the Muppets have been working with in recent years, it makes me wonder which TMS guest stars people would have complained about if they had the internet during the Muppet Show days (not to mention celebrities who have worked with the...
It had been quite awhile since I last got anybody new for the kitchen, and I only need Mahna Mahna for the rooftop, but ever since hearing about Lew being available for a limited time I've tried harder, and now I keep getting the remaining characters on the first or second try. After the current...
It seems that's the only scene in the trailer when we hear Constantine talking to the others while impersonating Kermit. Every other time he talks he's talking in his real voice.
I was reading the tough pigs forum about this and one of the members has some secret inside information. He was told that the cover was supposed to have different characters and word balloons (so maybe this isn't the final cover, or maybe they changed their minds), and that this book won't have...
Well we know that Andy and Randy will be on one page, and I assume most duos will as well (at least the duos where it would be weird to see one without the other). But if I did this I would put Bunsen and Beaker separately.
So we have about three more months. Maybe I should skip Christmas...
It would have been great to have seen sample layouts for one of the more major characters, to see if the main characters would have more pages (since there's a lot more to write about Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, and so on than there is about the characters in these sample pages).
So it looks...
Yeah, I had acknowledged that fans seemed mixed between whether the first or second is good, but at least I don't know of a single person who likes the third (or fourth) one the best. Of course it makes me wonder if I would like the first one best if I had grown up with the original comic books.
