Well, my app automatically updated (last time a stage was added after I got the app I had to click on updates on my phone). The main screen now has Kermit in a Santa hat, instead of Animal (and it should be an image of Kermit instead of Animal).
This ship stage is barely representative of...
When Lisa Robin Kelly (Laurie from That '70s Show) died and I learned how old she lived to be, which I can't remember now, I was surprised to learn how old she was. On That '70s Show she looked like she'd only been out of high school for a few years, but considering how old she lived to be she'd...
I might need to ask this in the "Ask Ken at Palisades" thread (I know he still replies on the rare occasions when questions are asked there), but you ever notice how most toys that have removable clothing (hats, glasses, etc.) the figures are wearing them in the packaging, but most Palisades...
This is such a ridiculous list. Too many movies that are only on the list because a major character dies? I wonder if the Sesame Street episode where Mr. Hooper's death is explained be on the list if it included TV episodes as well.
I don't know what to think about Brian coming back. I accepted his death and replacement rather quickly because it had been announced that one of the main characters would be killed off this season. I'd be a lot more shocked if a death hadn't been announced... THAT would be a real surprise...
In the past year I think I've seen Ryan from The Muppet Mindset once say that he's had sources tell him things about the season four release. Can't remember what he said, where he said it, or if I'm misremembering something, though he said he wasn't allowed to reveal his source.
Okay, here's one I never really got....
In The Great Muppet Caper, when Kermit is shaving and then says, "I wish I had whiskers. Of course then I'd have to use a blade."
I never really got that joke.
Anyone notice how some of the animated Peanuts shows seem to have random characters who resemble regular characters?
Like in A Boy Named Charlie Brown, one of the kids in the spelling bee championship (in fact the one who ends up winning) looks just like Schroeder.
And in It's...
In the movie Brewster's Millions, the main character inherits a fortune that he's supposed to spend all of within a short amount of time in order to inherit a muchlarger fortune. The point of this is to make him sick of spending money, and he struggles to spend all of it. But even then, it seems...
Well we have about 22 minutes left of Thursday and it looks like it didn't happen. I wasn't as scared this time around like I was last year or that one day in May 2011 (or the end of 1999). And this post was the only thing I've read about it... Nobody at work was tastelessly making jokes about...
There's actually another song I've had in my head the last few days... "We're on Our Way to Grampy's" from the Betty Boop short "Betty Boop and Grampy".
I've read that the commentary on the original DVD release had them introducing special "hidden treasures". So I'm guessing that didn't make it to the Blu-ray (which is surprising, I would think that if that could be accomplished on the original DVD then it should be on the Blu-ray)?
I wonder...
I never thought about the possibility of the unaired Little Muppet Monster segments no longer existing or being in storage. I'd like to think that they'd still exist, but I don't think there's anything officially confirmed as to whether they do or not. The Jim Henson Company clearly saved a lot...
The last episode had a cut-away with Vinny among the Griffins, I feel like Brian should have been there, since it was a flash-back and he hasn't been dead for too long.
When Bill Murray hosted Saturday Night Live in season 6, during the cold open he told the seasons cast "I saved the original cast, and I'll save you!"
However, most of the cast was fired before the next episode (which was the last of the season). Bill Murray didn't save most of the season 6 cast.
I didn't realize he didn't really sound like that (well, maybe he only does when he's shouting, and back then he didn't shout all the time). I didn't notice that he squints a lot until a few years ago when it was pointed out on The Bob Saget Roast. I wonder why he always squints. The TV Tropes...
I don't know how many of you have seen the series of reviews of the Muppet movies that have been posted on The Muppet Mindset once a month, but the person reviewing those movies actually got to see an early screening of Muppets Most Wanted. And in her most recent review, for The Muppet Christmas...
