Yeah, it looked ridiculous to me. I much prefer the look of old school TMNT, either the original movies or the Saturday morning cartoons. But overall I have a great lack of appreciation for 3D animation (but not CGI technology because, when used right, it enhances so much. Like 'King Kong' or...
I beez needin' any songs from Johnny and da Sprites, yo! Anyone a youse gots summat fuh me?
...Yeah. I don't know where that came from, haha! I'm an actress. Half the time I speak in a British accent. Fuh real. Ignore the fact that I asked this in the other MP3 thread, I did not know this one...
I definitely agree that we don't have to like everything, most definitely, but some people talk about how they've given up faith in the Muppets now, that they don't care to see any of the new characters and that they'd rather just watch the old, classic shows/movies. :smirk: We can be critical...
Wow. I hope I'm not alone when I say that I a) never got warm *fuzzies* off of Statler and Waldorf in the first place (teehee) and b) have gotten and continue to get warm fuzzies from Kermit, just as much as before Steve took over. I mean, please. Christmas Carol? Very Merry? The goodbye to...
Telly-
There's been a lot of asking for awhile about a version of The Rainbow Connection by Steve, but I don't think anyone's ever been able to find one. Personally, I don't think it exists, but I am totally willing to be proven wrong...
I know this is not the Muppets, but I figured I should ask anyway--does anyone have any Johnny and the Sprites songs? I would be *uber*-grateful.
(And if anyone has the songs from Don't Eat the Pictures save the title song and Mothers and Children... I'm still lookin'! :) )
Just got back from an Oscar party--and I won the pool!!! 54 bucks in my pocket!!! Woot!! I won with 18 correct answers--and I voted for "The Departed"! I am SOOOOOO happy it won! If "Babel" had won I would have been ******. I hope everyone enjoyed it! I loved the dancers who posed in the shapes...
I agree with SPC (and I'm sorry that rhymes). I don't think the reason the Muppets aren't uber-popular is because American kids are different and can't accept the Muppets, I think it's because they haven't been exposed to them.
I have two personal examples to give. First, my sister Caitlin is...
Okay, so my next question is, if Fraggles don't know what a radio is how in the world do they know what ticker tape is?! I just read the wiki on it and I still don't think I get it.
Favorite Muppet(s)? Oh so many, but to name a few... Kermit, Gonzo,

Favorite Muppet Movie? The Muppet Movie

Okay, I believe it's something like this...
Tinkers tink and drummers drumming,
Tell the world a hero's coming.
While we're dozing,
While we're stumbling,
Heroes have to roam.
If you wander in your wembling,
Just remember no pretending,
Every journey has an ending.
Time to hurry home...
Seriously, the Muppets make me cry more often than I could admit. I'll admit some things, but the full extent to how much I cry when I watch them/listen to them/etc... that's between me and my TV.
In the Muppet Movie, I cry pretty much every time the rainbow comes in the hole in the ceiling at...
Here is my question, I hope I can word it right...
When writing for the Muppets, how do you keep the humor both classic and modern (pop culture-y) and have it intended for all ages? Thanks for answering our questions, Jim, and I love, LOVE, LOVE It's A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie!!!!!
Apparently there's a Kermit shirt at Target too, IDK if this has been posted about. And by apparently, I mean I'm wearing it right now but I didn't buy it. My roommate did, and I think she said she got it at target. It's cute. It's green and it's got like a doodle-ie Kerm and it says "Stay...
I can't believe other people are awake right now. Like always, I've procrastinated and procrastinated and now I have a paper due at 11am--yes, folks, that's a little more than eight hours from now, EST. I'm 1100 words out of the 1800 I need so I'm not doing too badly, but boy, I always hate...
