well i have been using it on a recent project , and it seems pretty much the same as me, it took the Aljo dye like a dream, was able to get to very good 5 yard runs to die almost identical in less than perfect dying conditions, using only hot tap water , but they both are really really close to...
thier is a huge thread about this already, what happend is the thread that was being used was no going to be produced by the fiber company, so Hampshire mills ahd to devise a new way to make it work, i have been using the new stuff it seems fine to me, maybe a little stretchier than before, and...
actually i put my fleece in the dryer after i have dyed it, never hada problem with it, but im in the US, and maybe your dryers in europe have a higher temp., not sure, but it always comes out good to me,
what i dont do , is dye fleece in the washing machine, i find that makes it very pilly...
i was contacted by them to help with the puppetry stuff for the most part, but i have also been sculpting some stuff for Ami ,Yumi, and doing detail work on the animal planet float, ill post pics after the parade, they dont want any images out thier befro its up and running on parade day,
i...
you wlll never see it, it was considered to horrible to be realeased.Eisner was quoted as saying that he wanted all copies burned, lol
i saw it , it was awful, horrible, horrible premise for a show.
wes just about any of the suggestions here will work really well, i like the adhesive felt circles myself, thier pretty inexpensive as well,
a grmmet tool is great, and you can order them in many sizes, but it cost money , and they eventually get dull and you have to have them sharpend which...
my use of fanboys is not meant to be demeaning, since i am one as well, it is only a short hand, but like all things muppet related in the last few years, strong opinions will contiue to be forged on both sides.
it is certainly a product i do not plan on supporting.
well i hope you are both right, but it will take some convicing well thought out scripts to make this work, and be funny a, something that has been lacking of late in the muppet world, only time will tell i suppose
why do i feel this cheapens the muppets, beacuse seeing Kermit , or any other muppet that you are a fan of should be a special thing, be it at a live performance apperance, or on tv, or in a movie,or even in the occasionall museum it should be something special, that you personnaly expirience...
Why do some people fawn all over over anything that has the disney name attached?, why should people who are not happy about what is being done with the muppets sit quietley?this is a forum to express opinions, lord knows u express plenty of them yourself,.
I'm sure that if we got something...
really bad idea, cheapens the integrity of the muppets, they are not props, or special effects monsters,
i fear the disneyfication is not far behind
and besides that is one scary looking Kermit, even for a prototype, wrong color, and his limbs look very odd,
Thanks Fozzie, yes i Built him, (and named him SkankinFrackle),
now as to the topic of this thread , i really wish this bad "Reality" show idea would go away, i cant think of a worse thing for the muppets to do, they are about accepting new talent, even if its bad, (if Fozzie bear audtioned...
both methods are valid, all depends on what you want the outside to look like, form and function go hand in hand,
same for heads, and arms and legs, some are carved and hollowed out , some are patterned,
no , beacuse that would be a completely differnt look and texture,
gonzos nose is raw foam, , foam latex has a very specific look, as does scott foam
it would not look at all similar
