Okay...I suppose that sort of thing isn't really important, but I just thought I'd ask.
I've never shopped at Commisso's before, to be honest. Do your fellow staff know about your secret life as a Muppetfan?
My coworkers know and they just kinda nod and go,"Uh huh," and then slowly back...
This may have been done before, but what the hey.
Your favorite Monsterpiece Theatre sketch?
Mine would be the King and I with Grover dancing around with the lower case letter 'i'....I can't recall the dialogue, but just watching the sketch was funny enough with the 'dot' above the 'i'...
Of course! That's his signature style!
Cookie Monster, now, he's pretty one way or the other...you know, maniacally eating cookies or talking about them. Have you ever seen him squish his face in frustration? The only thing I can think of that Frank Oz does quite well with him is when he...
(To Pug Lover...in the small world that's closing in...)
Well, at least we can be assured in the fact if we ever call in...um...'sick', we'll have something to watch. Haha!
Do you have sattelite with Noggin or HIT?
Wait, you have no public profile....am I talking to a guy or a gal...
Ah, I was so happy when I came across those TMS episodes on CTS, too, Pug Lover (I also from Hamilton, how ya doin') but sadly, they don't show them on 7pm anymore... I believe they have 'em on at 4 in the afternoon, now! So that means my evening ritual has been slashed. I am working with 20...
I should wear glasses. I set down my last pair in '97 on a mailbox while talking to a friend (and a guy I liked...of course). I walked away with both friends and without my glasses. I haven't been to an eye doctor since. I know, it's stupid, but I am not suffering from headaches, I can see...
A beautiful little skit! They don't make 'em like that anymore.
Only the words 'eating', Easter', 'egg', and 'evening' started with the letter 'E"! Everything else just emphasized the long 'e' sound within the words.
So, it was and it wasn't a skit about the letter 'E'.
Yeah! I know what you mean!
I thought of another thing that Kermit would do, particularly in his Muppet Newsflash skits, was the shouting he'd do, that wide open mouth, kinda (as Steve Whitmire said) 'punching' the air, with his arms flailing out in front. He could go from easy going to...
HEY WAIT!! Why, there's a Muppet Show skit just like that! I can't remember who guest starred...female, for sure...but she's walking in the park and...geez, I can't even remember what the monster looked like, but it followed that very same plot line, even the line she says at the end!
D-oh...
Absolutely, and congrats on those great finds!
Keep them in good condition and you'll have some valuables on your hands!
It's so lovely when someone knows what you like and takes the time to find things that may be of importance/interest to you!
Ah, and then we can expect to see 'Fatkins'! A Muppet who tries a certain diet (*wink) and fails miserably....
Or an episode where Gordon munches on only Subway sandwiches for a week and the cast does its very first intervention!
"Gordon, you smell reek of onion!" says Susan.
"I love...
So it is agreed then, we are cooler than everyone else?
Yes?
Of course yes!
And another thing, if I may, I have never met anyone who doesn't like SS or TMS!
We're a rare breed, folks! Keep the spirit alive!
Okay, we're all here because we love Jim Henson, his works, the music and so on....
In your own town (or city, whatever) do you have friends who share the same interest? Do you have friends you can go with to stores or second hand stores and search for collectibles?
or...
is this kind...
OKay, here we go...
I have met: Kristie Alley (sp?), Alan Anton from Cowboy Junkies, Atom Egoyan (famed Canadian director), the president of Canadian Alliance pictures (can't rememeber his name), Jim Cuddy form Blue Rodeo, Bruce McCullough from Kids in the Hall, Drew Barrymore and Tom Green...
