I think that occasionally, in the early 90s, instead of having the credits with Barkley and the kids, it had Big Bird and kids taking a walk through Central Park, but I don't think it was used very often.
Well, I don't know about the ratings for the newer episodes. I have been told that they're doing quite well, but I don't know that for a fact. We don't even know if PBS is going to renew the contract for Sesame Street 2 years from now. But I don't really care if they make new episodes like...
What do you mean SHORTENED to 15 minutes? The segments have been made LONGER, not shorter. Like the uncut Street Scene, Journey to Ernie, and the 15-minute Elmo's World.

But again, sadly, all those old shows they had on Noggin in the very beginning were mainly meant to be filler. They didn't have any shows of their own, so they had to fill space with something, so they decided to fill it with old programming from CTW...
I used to love that African Counting series. It used to be my favorite. They still use some of the number films from the early 90s. But they never did a version for number 20.
