Heh, I'm going to all the movies. Well, most of them. Some of them overlap.
((I even bought one ticket to the second MFS just in case Dave's there before running across the building to the Elmo and Grouchland to catch Kevin fifteen minutes later. :p ))
And I'm going to the benefit. Hope to...
Is anyone going to the Huntington one planning a sort of MC meetup like at Muppetfest?
EDIT: OH and Dave Goelz is confirmed now too, up there, on the page.
I heard from this guy who talked to somebody who knew what was going on:
A finalized guest list for each event will be put up by the end of today.
"This guy who talked to somebody" may not be a credible source.
If the guest list isn't put up and you're running out of time, Ploobis, I'd shoot...
((Sorry to interrupt this question, but dad called and the guy said that the reason those three weren't posted yet was because 1) Carroll probably wouldn't be able to come, 2) Kevin Clash is filming a movie with Jamie Foxx and he doesn't know when he'll be let up and therefore can't choose a...
Cool! Dad's calling again probably today with these three questions:
Why haven’t Dave Goelz, Kevin Clash, and Carroll Spinney been listed yet, but Heather Henson and Fran Brill have?
Do you have to get tickets for the panel discussion at the box office in person? If so, is there any way we...
Aw, Sara, I'm sorry that really does suck. :o If you need anything, talk or whatever, let me know.
Heralde that is the cutest Richard quote I've ever read. It is SOOO going on the list.
Hah yeah that's what I meant. The guy definitely confirmed the puppeteer names first, but then my dad just said "Gonzo" to me, which makes me think the Cinema Arts guy said Gonzo as well.
The guy, when he was talking to my dad who admitted to not knowing any Muppeteer names, said "Gonzo will be there". It could have been talk for "Dave Goelz" but I think he actually means that Gonzo will be there.
As for Mokey, that would be nice.
Oh I haven't doen this in forever.
1. What's my mood like right now?
Me Going to Munch You- Cookie Monster (Yes, I have not had breakfast)
2. How's tomorrow going to be for me?
Pink Panther- Donny & The Royales
3. What kind of person am I?
Cottleston Pie- Rowlf
4. Am I loved?
No Man's Land-...
I think she's going by what they say when you call them.
I don't see why they're not listing those three on the site when the phone number specifically listed them. I also don't know why the phone number did not list Fran Brill. Perhaps they're keeping it to themselves until the regular tickets...
Hah, I think it's playing all month so you'll have plenty of chances. They come in around the last half hour though so you don't have to watch the whole thing. Not to say the rest of it isn't amazing. ;)
Don't know if anyone mentioned it, but Elmo and Grover made an appearance on the Paul Simon PBS special to sing The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy).
And then afterward, of course there were puns to be had:
Grover: Whoa that was a really short song. Were all his songs this short?
Elmo...
There was a hippo in Dinosaurs, which is semi-Muppet, certainly from the company.

:) No Muppet Show hippos though, I believe.
I have no idea about the one in Rochester, but it sounds like it's set in stone. Does the venue have a phone number?
And thanks for the tip minor muppetz. :)
Also I don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but if you pay an extra hundred, you can go to a reception with some or all of the special...
Hah, that's true. I love how Kermit looked at himself and was like "Hmm. A dollar seventy-five for felt and...how much are ping-pong balls going for these days?"
I personally really did not like Morley's reporting. I guess I got a teeny bit protective when he interrupted Richard or something...
I'm not sure, I don't think they've solidified the event quite yet.
Dad just called the Cinema Arts Centre, they have confirmed:
1. Dave Goelz
2. Carroll Spinney
3. Kevin Clash
4. Every surviving member of the Henson family
And they said that they will be putting up the guest speakers on...
Oh I hope he comes to the one in Huntington though. Maybe he'll be the speaker for one of the MFS screenings.
If so I'll try to take a video and post it up.
