Oh I know, sorry if I sounded arrogant. Sometimes when people criticize things that I like, part of me starts to listen to them and I like it less. But that's just me. Anyways, of course I didn't mean to sound arrogant, and I'm glad you liked the movie! :)
I honestly didn't like this movie. I went to see it with my friend last night and it just wasn't the Muppets I know and love. Statler and Waldorf all had lame jokes, and I laughed maybe three times during the course of the movie. I loved the Muppets that came out in, 2011. They were funny...
I don't really know what draws me to the Muppets. I think it's partially just the general strangeness of it all. But for me the best part of the Muppets, The Fraggles, Sesame Street, and everything else Jim Henson, is that completely happy feeling I get when they come on. I just start smiling...
It's true. When you listen to pop radio, its all about doing stupid stuff and making bad decisions. There are like 5 good songs that I've heard. The media and pop culture are especially hard (in my opinion) on teenage girls. The main message is that you have to be a supermodel to be beautiful...
Actually, I thought Selena Gomez was fine in that. I like Disney, but they sure do get under my skin sometimes. I don't mind too much, though. Yeah, product placement is annoying, but overall Disney's pretty cool. Besides, Cars II? That's such a lame idea, I don't know why they're even...
I have to say... Man or Muppet. That song is just the most ridiculously cheesy song on the planet, and I love so much!! Actually, the first time I saw that movie (which I saw about 4 times after that in theatres, and I now own) I could not stop laughing! It was the most hilarious thing I think...
I seriously can not decide. Everything any muppet/fraggle/Jim Henson character says or does just makes me incredibly happy. No way I can choose just a few!
You might be an obsessed muppet fan if...
You start singing Tex Richman's Rap at the top of your lungs in public and surrounded by total strangers
:wisdom:
I'm going to guess that you mean before Disney, but after Jim Henson died? Because some of those movies were pretty bad....:boo:
If you're talking about the Muppet show, or the Jim Henson movies, I have to disagree. Jim Henson should be-and probably is- the King Of The Universe.
I definitely agree! I love Disney, but they should really spend more time. The Muppets are a great thing, and should NEVER be compromised for money- it's just not what they're about! If Disney gets this movie wrong, I'll just go cry. In a corner. And ask myself, "What is happening to this...
Okay, so I LOVE the one that Wembley and Lou sing; That's Why You Should Learn To Love A wimp
Also love the funeral dirge that Boober, Red and Gobo sing to get Junior Gorg out of their way- love that one too- but honestly there are WAY too many to choose from!
I love them all!!!
:coy:
