I recently needed some very specific eyeglasses for a puppet & coudln't find any. I ended up having a friend who does stained glass art make them for me. Only bad part is that because of the lead content, you can't eat them or rub them on yourself for excessive periods of time.
Ok for a minute I thought the couple's names were going to be Stacey & Todd....which is my & my husband's name. But, if she leaves the human for the puppet, I'll be happy :)
I can't imagine making a feature-length anything! Good for you guys!
its called istop motion and its free for macs.
there's a good one, I hear for PC (which is what I have) called monkeyjam. There's an animation instructor in our puppetry guild (i had -no- idea) that's had quite a bit of experience with stop motion (i want to steal his armatures) that...

Thanks Relborn!
I actually don't normally sell at comicons. That was my first. I have a shop online & I sell from that. The links in the last group go to my little shop.
Try putting an eye-hook at the back of the head to thread it through to make it pull backwards before it pulls down maybe? (if I understand the problem correctly...
You could have some elastic hold his mouth closed & then tie a string to the inside of the mouth at the top that goes down, essentially a rod (or it can just hang?) & then pull the string (with a ring on the end) to open his mouth & when you let go the elastic will pull the mouth shut again.
