I submitted a poem once, because I think submitting one allowed me to enter some other contest online. This, in itself, was a tip-off. I've been steadily ignoring their emails since. I think I allowed them to publish the poem in one of their anthologies, but I haven't shelled out any money...

Well, I thought the skit was very funny--not because of any personal stuff about Walt Disney, but more because of the satire of lackluster direct-to-dvd animated sequels. To me, the heart of the humor in this skit was a distaste for the corporate exploitation of the Disney animated classics.

It was absolutely hilarious. What I really loved were the censored pictures from Disney films on the back wall--all authentic!

I actually REALLY love Last Crusade. I was just the right age when it came out, I think. That film made me want to BE Indiana Jones. I really love the combination of action and humor, especially the dynamic between Ford and Connery. What a great movie!

Oh yeah, me too--I just thought I'd answer your question, since you said you weren't sure which of those songs were actually Weird Al. Weird Al is a really nice guy--we met him after his show in Iowa City a couple of years ago. He stayed around to sign autographs for anyone who stuck around...
