Thanks again, everyone. I appreciate the positive feedback! I was a bit worried about posting it in this section, instead of the fan fiction section, but it didn't really seem to fit there either. In any case, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

LOVABLE CHARACTERS THREATEN CITY
NEW YORK CITY—In the wake of last week’s terrorist scare, in which a splinter group known as the Aqua Teen Hunger Force brought the city of Boston to its knees, an even more dangerous possibility has emerged in the heart of America’s largest metropolis. A...
Yeah, I liked that they gave her a second chance too. I think they've said yes to a number of people who have talent and potential, but who aren't super-polished yet. I'm glad--after all, it gives them room to grow in the next round.
Oh, I agree. I mean, I enjoy seeing the terrible people, but I get very tired of the people who think that arguing or outshouting/outsinging the judges is going to make a difference. I also found the first audition of the year, the not-so-great girl who was obviously coerced to sing a Jewel...
I like them too--especially the Jack Osborne guy. Not only did he have a nice voice, but he was intelligent and intentionally funny. I also like that kid who auditioned with his sister, who was then told he outsang her. He had a very sweet voice, if I remember correctly.
I can easily say that I would gladly pay $600-$800 for Fozzie or Piggy, but whether I actually would is another story. That's a lot of money. Still, in theory, I'm onboard. I would LOVE to have a Fozzie replica!
I don't know--I trust that the people behind The Simpsons know what a challenge it is to tell a fresh story in a movie, especially after almost 400 episodes. I don't think they would do it if it weren't going to be funny.
I was a little surprised that the dance number went on for so long. I mean, I know Family Guy does that sometimes, but this time it seemed like too much.
Not surprising, give how often comics get delayed--there are just so many different people involved. I hope, though, that the delay makes the end result even better. I'd much rather have a late awesome project than a prompt rushed one.
Thanks again, everyone! I did have a splendid birthday, and am enjoying the Wii and American Idol very much. (I'm glad they toned down the meanness this week on AI, though.)
Hope you're all having a good weekend!
Thanks again, everyone. I'll try to be around more--I do read a lot here, but for some reason I just haven't had a ton to say. But I'll try to do better. I do enjoy it here!
