Muppet parody puppets on Crank Yankers

Thanks, I'm going to be putting pics of him and a slew of other puppets I've been doing up in the next little while. Right now there are a bunch (including the Peter Manspork puppet) that are 80-90% done. I actually haven't worked on him since I took that picture. :o

    Dilated pupils

That's actually an optical illusion. Gonzo has an eyelid mech. People often think they've seen the Muppets do things they can't. A lot of people claim Piggy can bat her eyelashes but that's also an optical illusion. It's all just the handiwork of very talented puppeteers! :)

    Dark Crystal Font Available Online

Working on ad for someone here and came across this ~ http://www.1001fonts.com/font_details.html?font_id=631 It's a Dark Crystal outline font. The site actually has a lot of cool fonts, but also a lot of annoying pop-up ads.

Anyone want to do Link Exchanges?

Was wondering if anyone wants to do link exchange with me. Just even a text link is fine, but if you want to use a link banner I have two (one static, one animated) available at http://www.bear-town.com/main.htm just go there and copy them to your hard drive. Feel free to link to either my main...

    Dilated pupils

...or some kind of really elaborate mech. Actually, the illusion of the same effect can be created with moving eyelids like Gonzo's.

    Dilated pupils

That's true - they have done that a lot. They shoot the puppet normally, then cut away, swap out the eyes and cut back to the puppet. I have actually seen it done where the pupils dialate but I don't think it was the Muppets.

    Dilated pupils

Hmm...I've never caught that. Probably saw it but don't remember. I have seen this done on other puppet shows as animation in post production.

    Back in Japan...

I've performed there on tour a few times and lived there briefly. I've travelled around most of the country. My best friend and his wife live in Yokohoma. I am supposed to be doing a show late in the summer in Japan but I'm not sure if it's coming together yet.

    Back in Japan...

Hey Zondra, have you seen this site ~ http://www.japanesestreets.com ? I haven't had much time to poke around it, but it looks like there is lots of stuff there all about Japanese street culture, fashion, etc.

    PawPets West

Has anybody seen these? It's a group of people on the west coast who lip-sync to music and create videos. Some of the puppeteering is pretty good too!
