Your Thoughts: The Street We Live On

This is really on the Lost Media Wiki? Why? For Christ's sake, even I, at 10 years old or so remember watching it live. Surely tons of people taped this, right? http://lostmedia.wikia.com/wiki/Sesame_Street:_The_Street_We_Live_On_(Original_Uncut_Version)

Balancing issues are a bit odd... It feels like you're getting ripped off in the Gonzo-Camilla pack.

Why the Time is Right for a New Muppet Babies

I agree 110%. I've burned out my retinas trying to catch up on all the posts in the thread about the cancellation, but with the stigma of the Muppets being for kids being more real than ever in the world we live in today, this would be a total hit; CG reboot in an early morning Disney Channel...

    Sesame Street Canceled Figures Interview

I mean, his posts seemed pretty honest, but fair enough. He said he worked "with" Palisades, not for.

    Sesame Street Canceled Figures Interview

What makes you so sure? Just seems pretty baseless to me. With Roosevelt Franklin and Yip Yip Martians confirmed for as early as wave 2 (in reality), nothing seemed out of reach with this line. ;) Any major characters missing from the presumed first 5 waves? Something seems to be...

    R.I.P. Prince (1958-2016)

Okay, I agree Prince seemed maybe a little too "full of himself" at times, shall we say, but letting Weird Al parody your song, everyone remembers that, and it takes away from the seriousness of the song. Like if I wrote a really serious song that really meant something to me I wouldn't want...

    Sesame Street Canceled Figures Interview

With 5 waves it barely even feels like they scratched the surface. :( I feel like with the first 5 or 6 waves of the Muppet line they nailed all the heavy hitters, but there's just so many SS characters.

    Sesame Street Canceled Figures Interview

Alright, here were the tentative waves 1-5 for the Palisades SS line (I have never heard waves 3-5 or the exclusives ever discussed anywhere before). This is straight from the horse's mouth from a former Palisades employee, and a special thanks to @muppetspot2 for finding this info...

Me too! Not for the sake of negativity, but because I've followed that guy for ages.

Diamond Select Toys to Produce new Muppet figures and mini mates!

Yeah, and I also heard it was too tough of a market between too sophisticated of a kid's toy and too childish for adult collectors (that I don't believe though since everyone loves the Muppets), so they really didn't know where or what stores it would belong. I would've just loved to have seen...

Songs that remind you of SST/The Muppets

That's actually where I discovered it. I'm sure I've heard it before, but I actually heard it in the movie Begin Again. Yeah, but for the late '60s that song was really ahead of its time; truly timeless.

Really interesting. Got any interesting insight on the SS line that never came to be? What exactly was your role with Palisades?

Songs that remind you of SST/The Muppets

The harmonica solo in this song (1:31) really reminds me of Sesame Street circa late '90s early 2000's? Wasn't there like some harmonica thing in the end credits? Burt Bacharach = Joe Raposo

It's such a shame; it truly is a great sculpt. It's just a waste that he just came out and we're already saying, "well, maybe they'll rerelease him".

Diamond Select Toys to Produce new Muppet figures and mini mates!

OMG they are tiny! I always wondered why Palisades made Kermit knocked-kneed, especially now since someone did him right. Man, you're right; it's all in the eyes. He goes from looking like a possessed robot to just a great figure. I really can't believe they OK'd this. If this line...

Don't get me wrong ~ still good figures. I'd say no; if anything, I think we got more than we could ask for. I mean that's a little extreme. It's a completely valid criticism and in no way nitpicking; something went wrong on Diamond's end.
