Hey KFarr,
I just came across this on Ebay. You could buy it, take it a part and build your own using the pattern. I think it is pretty darn close to what you need.
Ebay Parrot Puppet
I am curious, "What do you make your puppets out of?" They look like Latex rubber that has been painted and had a gloss medium put over them. Are they Foam Latex? Rubber LAtex? OR a different material?
Is the castle, Castle Grayskull? It looks like my old toy from as a kid. What is...
Allow me to jump on the band wagon as well. I also loved it. I am always amazed with how many talented people there are here on this forum. Great work!
I've said it before and I will say it again, "You are one of my favourtie builders."
Personally, I love Big Mouth sooo much. He is something special.
Great work. And what a wonderful style!
Hi mzredbox,
No, you are thinking of FUN FUR YARN, we are talking FUN FUR FABRIC . If you go to any fabric store they should have an example of it. Even Michaels has some small amounts for sale. But the fabric store would be your best bet. If the store that you go to does not have it...
Thank you roastnebrie. Building replicas is great for practice, and once a puppet builder feels comfortable enough, building originals is the next challenge to face (which I am sure you already do, I am just making a general statement; it is not directed to you personally). Glad you liked the...
Hi mzredbox,
You must have missed it, but the same question and answer is posted just two posts above yours. I hope it helps.

Hi GabeFirestone,
I don't think there too much planning with the content of the video. I think it was mostly improv and an attempt to use a puppet to bring awareness to the festival, and to see a bit on the town.
That's just what I think though.
That's the thing about improv, some...
I love him renegade! I must say I am very impressed with how nicely you are developing as a builder. Well done. I totally agree that Project Puppet is a tremendous tool. Aside from this forum I don't think they get enough credit. Just look at what you have been able to do.:)
Here is a cool video promoting the Puppets Up! festival in Almonte, Ontario, CANADA. Almonte is just outside of Ottawa. The festival runs August 12th and 13th, 2006. You can see the video and read more about the festival below.

Hey Marky!
Things are so up in the air right now I can't commit to anything. I am donating some of my puppets for window displays. If I do make it to the festival this year I would love to terrorize the visitors with puppets.
Like I said I have a bunch of stuff going on and...
Hey renegade,
I know that you have been doing your puppet building homework to make sure that your puppet looks as good as possible. Well, in my humble opinion you have done a super job! You should be (as I am sure you are) very proud of it. It looks great!
Hey Faze,
I highly recommend going. I did a write up about last year's event. You can read about Day #1 and Day #2 on my blog. Just to note. At the end of my Day #1 entry I talk about a couple of young performers. Well the young lady is currently one of the top finalists in Canadian...
Sorry for my late replies evryone, I've been out of town recently and just got back about an hour ago.
Hi Mr. Penguin. Thanks. I love Star Wars so there is an extra level to my love of these puppets as well.
Thank you Arislan. The fur is just plain old fun fur that can be purchased at any...
Hey BorkBork,
The term "clean" is my own term/a term I use that refers to how neat and tidy the puppet looks. Messy puppets that have bunches on glue (like the ones my students did) are not very "clean". Your sock puppet entry is "clean". Sorry to confuse things by using my own...
Great puppets BorkBork! I really like your "clean" style. I had a read of your blog as well, very nice! I can't wait to see and read more about your work.
