Incredible. Absolutely incredible. You want to know where I started bouncing up and down with excitement, rooting them on? It was about right here.
"You're wrong Elmo." Kermit declared. "I'm not alone. I have my friends. Friends that you once had. But lost."
I went all, "I KNEW IT!" I...
<turns to teddy bear>
How did I know he was going to say something like that? And where have all my readers gone? Why isn't anyone else saying anything? <sigh> I'll just have to go outside and write some more...
While writing fanfiction, I have found that one of my best friends is the "Preview Post" button. It lets me check that I have all the brackets and dashes I need and all in the right places, so I get "Moi am a bit hungry" instead of "Moi [b]am[/i] a bit hungry," "Moi {i]am[/i] a bit hungry," "Moi...
What Happened?
Robin could feel his grip slipping from the bus fender. He had been holding on for a long time. But now daylight was fading and the last thing he wanted to do was let go while the bus was still moving.
But he didn't have a choice.
There was a bump, and the young frog was...
Two buses.
Now then, does everybody have some kleenex and a teddy bear? Does everybody who wants it have a copy of "Halfway Down the Stairs" on hand? Well then, I suppose I'd better get on with the next chapter.
We have a winner! And that actually wasn't the reference I was refering to in my hint, Count. I'll see if anyone can figure it out before I reveal that one, though.
By the way. The next chapter? You might need some Kleenex. And a teddy bear. And a copy of "Halfway Down the Stairs". Well, no...
Closet Pipe Diner
Robin pulled the picture out of his breast pocket. He looked at it sadly. He felt like crying.
I'm all alone, he thought. I'm just a little frog, all by myself. I don't know where I am, I don't know where I'm going. All I know is I can't let Hopper catch me, or he'll kill...
I was starting to think I was the only one who still remembered this! I even referenced it in my fanfic. So where's the rest? Well, it's somewhere in Beth C's head. Where's Beth C? Good question.
ROBIN!!!!!!!!!!!!
<shakes>
<cries>
<falls>
<cries>
<gets up>
<deep breath>
...I'm ok... no I'm not... but I can pretend...
<shakes>
...So, um, I loved Gonzo's, uh, "Camilla? This is going to be so cool!" That was funny. And I liked... I liked Kermit telling Miss Piggy...
(ooc: where did everybody go?)
Kelly: Tabby?
Tabby: Yeah?
Kelly: Why are you running around in circles?
Tabby: Because I'm bored.
Ann: And because she's crazy.
Kelly: That's not nice.
Ann: Sorry. But Tabby, please stop. What if you get dizzy and fall over and we can't get...
That's okay, it sounds kind of like me. I'm about to get in trouble for not leaving my room all day, my dad just came home... uh oh...
EDIT: Aw, what the heck... next chapter coming up!
SECOND EDIT: <drops head on desk> Don't you hate it when you type, oh, say half a chapter or so, and...
So who's looking forward to the next chapter? I know I am. There's two, yes TWO cameos, plus a challenge of a reference. And Robin... er... hitches a ride. Oh, and there's some funny stuff, too.
So. Anybody interested?
Ok. I'm at the edge of my seat. This chapter was incredibly, prawncracker. Incredible.
First of all, the title. Very nice. Those first two lines, sufficient to give the creeps.
I loved and laughed at the dialogue between Floyd and Gonzo. Especially "It's ok, I landed on my head!" Yay...
Since when do I take orders? At least pretend to be polite. :p And anyway, I already posted a chapter today. You know that, you just did a lovely (much appreciated) detailed review of it. So if you're waiting for me to post another chapter before you post your next chapter, you've got a long...
The next chapter? Well, to quote Pete in MTM: "Is coming, is coming! Got two hands only!"
And yeah, I knew that wild horses run in herds, I just wasn't sure if they were really refered to as herds. Or something like that.
I know what you mean about death being everywhere these days, BEAR. In my highschool, we had four deaths this year alone. I know one of them was an alumnus fighting in Iraq, but I'm pretty sure the other three were still students. There was at least one homicide and one suicide.
When my...
