Kelly: <sings>
Ann: <muttering to self> I'm a battle tested warrior, I'm a battle tested warrior, I'm a battle tested warrior, I'm a battle tested warrior, I'm a battle tested warrior, I'm a battle tested warrior...
Tabby: When do I get to fight?
Ann: Quiet, Tabby, I'm trying to...
Glad the gifts helped, Kathy. Let me know if you need an extra hug, I've always got plenty to spare.
Rowlf: Hey Lisa, what are you writing? That doesn't look like fanfic.
It's not, it's an article for my synagogue's newsletter.
Rowlf: Oh. That would explain why it doesn't look like...
EXCELLENT! I love the running gag with Fozzie/Fonzie, and the "sit on it" is great! Also love the backstage thing with Floyd complaining to Piggy, Henry, and Janice. I can so see that happening! And the inflated Gonzo was great, and I loved the mutated sponge book skit. Can you tell that I...
Gosh, nobody's sent me a private message about a muppet fan letter.
vim: Do you think none of them can think of something that could go in a muppet fan letter?
Are you kidding? With a board full obsessed muppet fans?
vim: Well then, maybe nobody's reading this thread anymore.
I...
<snicker> this is great! You know what my favorite part is? The talk spot. "Jack Burns: oh, shows like that one puppet show that is hosted by a frog.
Wanda: oh, i would hate to be on that kind of a show." Classic!
(ooc: just a point of reference... ok bic)
Kelly: Will you make up your mind? Are you not hurting me, or am I pretending to give up?
Ann: <shaking, waving sword around rather pointlessly> DON'T HURT MY SISTER!
Tabby: <to Ann> You know, if you could stop being such a scaredy-cat, I bet...
I really don't get what it is about post count either. I don't think it's a respect thing, at least not here, because I know that some members with very low post counts happen to be muppeteers. I don't think we'll give them any less respect just because they're still "junior members," right? So...
Really? Because that's exactly the first thing I thought of when I read it! Wow. And as for the other things about whether or not they're in character... <shrug> Seemed alright to me.
(sidenote: Thanks Count, just thought I'd double check...)
Ann: <looks at sword in hands> Daddy, what am I doing?!?
Kelly: You're helping our aunt. Don't worry, Daddy wouldn't tell us to if it wasn't good.
Tabby: This is so cool! Hey, look what I can do!
Kelly: Not yet! Wait for...
Well, as for Beau helping the good guys, in the book there was a pirate on the ship who changed sides. Although I guess they had already referenced that with Sweetums in the fight scene.
Kermit: Well, uh, thank you. But aren't you supposed to be fighting against us?
Sweetums: Are you...
Side note: Guys, this is absolutely insanely hilarious to read! random question- well not so random, but- Count, are the girls at sea, too? Because I'm a little lost. Actually I'm not even here, I'm disappearing for a few hours...
Hey guys, I'm back.
Rowlf: How'd the appointment go? What'd the doctor say?
I might need a follow-up appointment in a while, but basically I'm normal.
Rowlf: You're normal? I think you need a different doctor.
Ha ha. I did ask for a second opinion.
Rowlf: Yeah? What'd she say...
Another great outline, minor muppetz! Love Foo Foo getting thrown off stage, and the running gag with the automatic costume changer is hysterical! Out of random curiousity, for the "high, middle, low" number, who sings which part?
I completely understand. That's why I usually do something like this:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That way it's clear that we've moved either time, place, or both, but a perfect transition isn't really necessary.
Chef: Ok, zee peee's dune-a. Let me-a joost poot it in a bux tu keep it seffe-a, und yuoo cun teke-a it doon tu Kethy. Bork bork bork!
Rowlf: Yeah, and I grabbed some chocolates for her, too.
That's so nice of you guys. I sure hope she likes it. I'll just sign this card here... ok, got the...
