Well done. I like the balcony coming off. Actually, I like everything that has anything to do with the Swedish Chef's spot. Very funny. Poor newsman, he'll never get a job anywhere but the muppet show...
Oh dear, it looks like there's a whole lot of trouble ahead. But I love this chapter! Just imagining Animal on coffee- what a scary thought! Keep it coming, this is great!
<yawn> I better head for the land of nod, I have to register for school tomorrow. Have to be well rested for ID and yearbook pictures, right?
Rowlf: Somethin' like that.
Yeah. Something like that. Good night, sweet dreams, etc.
<still entangled in the funny looking net> EXCELLENT! CONGRATULATIONS! And it only took you 133 more posts than the other senior members... Anyways, registered user no more, let's all give D'Snowth a big hand! <grabs a hand and throws it at D'Snowth>
Ah, you've got me laughing again! As usual! A fantabulous chapter, love the count counting the fans on tv, and the swim competition was just so GLORIOUS! Ol' Buddy Bert in a speedo, <blush!> But Brad, just SOOOOOOO cute! Aw, let's all give him a cute little hug. And I love the whole thing...
Oh that's a relief. I guess I can stop chasing it with this funny looking net, then. Which is good, because I seem to have tangled myself up in this funny looking net, and it's very difficult to chase someone with something you're tangled up in.
Hey, it couldn't hurt! And just remember.... <eyes go wide> AH! THE WILD APPLAUSE IS RIGHT BEHIND YOU! DON'T MOVE! <runs for a net with which to catch the wild applause>
Chapter One
It was late in the evening at the Muppet Theater. There was no one in the audience and the stage was empty. Beauregard pushed the last set piece into the prop room and grabbed his mop and bucket. Clifford finished checking and adjusting the lights and climbed down to stage. Pops...
Well folks, I can't stand sitting around not posting this story. And since now I have figured out some details that get worked out towards the middle that are needed for the beginning, I'm confident that I can post it without worrying about discrepencies. Did I spell that right? Aw who cares...
<walks over and stands with singing food>
Yes, we have no bananas...
We have no bananas today!...
Come on, guys, sing! Please? Because I don't know all the words.
We've string beans
and onions...
...and that's where my memory goes "blip blip blip" and skips ahead to:
We have an...
Here here! Blue screen and green screen make things so easy anymore. Unless of course you're working with muppets, and you have blue and green characters...:) :attitude: :concern: Although I prefer hearing about tricks like "mirrors and a three legged stool." They're so much more interesting...
Why did the road cross the chicken?
...wait, um... uh, just ignore that...
But I can't stand not posting this ol' joke of mine. When people complain about something not making sense, I say, "Why make sense when it's more profitable to make dollars?"
Chef: Hey Leesa, vhere-a hefe-a yuoo beee?
I've been with my parents heping my grandparents get a couple new telephones.
Rowlf: Sounds stressful.
What, shopping for telephones with a 92 year old man and an 84 or so year old woman, and then teaching them how to use them, stressful? What...
Aw, they got together, how sweet... and they all live happily never after. I absolutely adore the "comeback of the decade." Gorgeous! And I love "The Picnic," Too!
I love it, as usual. Poor Fozzie! how typical for Statler and Waldorf to show up just when he got on stage. And I love the end of Vet's hospital! Great!
HA! I love it! "put on a happy face" is SO muppety, I can totally see them doing something like that. And I love how Elizabeth Taylor tries to bribe her way off the show, and then wonders why she's on the show, and the big bag of money- it's great! And I LOVE Bunsen's suit! It's wonderful! And...
I'M HERE I'M HERE I'M HERE I'M HERE I'M HERE! Sorry, I actually had something of a life today. Anyways, now that I've read it I LOVE IT! I love the "Clifford is dead" gag. I don't particularly hate Clifford, but I used to, but then I've never seen Muppets Tonight OR Jim Henson Hour, but then I'm...
