So, besides the re-running of old Muppet material, what about the creation of NEW Muppet material? Surely some of you have "fantasy projects" you'd love to see the Muppets do?
I think it's pretty much a no-brainer that we really don't want the Muppets portraying...
Elchippo,
You're right on target with the clothing and plush idea...."hard lines" as they are called (plastic toys, etc.) take a long time to get through production. Soft items like clothing and stuffed animals get to market much faster.
I do have to say though, I was HORRIBLY disappointed...
You'll have to forgive us, marky, for agreeing to dis-agree. ;)
Of course, your position is one of lowest common denominator: in the event that ANYTHING comes along, you're better off than not. And there's something to be said for that.

Which means I'm gonna hunt the scammer down and report him to eBay.

My wife had a GREAT idea. How many movies does Disney release every year? A dozen or so? Well, PIXAR has had tremendous success with making animated shorts to put at the beginning of their movies.
So the idea is this: Let the...
Prawncracker: ABSOLUTELY!
There's no harm in sounding off and telling the studio that we LIKE the Muppets and that we WANT to spend our hard earned dollars on QUALITY Muppet entertainment and merch!

Now, you all realize that just one letter isn't enough, right?
I think perhaps that everyone who is interested should copy that letter IN THEIR OWN HAND and send it off personally to MHC/Disney or wherever it's decided to send them.
Sure, its a form letter. But if they get hundreds, maybe...
Wow, Tim...
That's a self-fulfilling prophesy if I ever heard one.
Ever hear of Playmobil toys? They're made in Germany by the Brandstatter Company. They've been on the American market since 1974. And they've got a VERY LARGE adult collector following. But guess what? Not until three...
