Now this, to me, seems like an intriguing idea! Maybe not necessarily a 1 and 1/2 movie, but something that gives us the background of some of the other characters like Fozzie, Piggy, Rowlf, Scooter and the rest and where they came from. We already had Kermit's Swamp Years, how about Rowlf's...
(I walk into the dorm building to see if there are any rooms available. I have only been here a couple times before just to scope out the place but never intended to stay. Maybe this time I will want to stay a while.) Hmm...I wonder what people do here. (I wander around the halls and stop in...
Never come up with an idea like that ever again. lol. Just teasing.
To me it would just be a huge waste of time to re-record voices that were perfect before. Plus, I think it would take away from the charm that the original has to just do it again. Also, you can't really recreate that...
I just don't understand what the point is. It is nothing new. All you are basically doing is redubbing the voices, which doesn't need to be done. Also, to me I feel it is disrespectful to Jim Henson's creations.
Sorry, but that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. It is quite possibly the dumbest idea ever. Plus, it would never happen so it doesn't matter.
This has always been so interesting that Sam can't fly when real eagles can, and (as seen in The Great Muppet Caper) the Muppet chickens can fly up to the top of a tall building, but real chickens can't really fly.
I gotta say, the Bert and Ernie bit about PBS was the most brilliantly written part of it. Good chapter. And thanks for not having Grover speak in contractions.

Yes, Mrs. P., Mr. Rogers was a crossover character, for the same reasons Shari Lewis was a crossover character when she came to visit Sesame Street with Lambchop. Shari was still playing herself, but thats what she does on her own show too.
Actually, now that I think about it, maybe they...
"Bein' Green" is Kermit's signature period. He has been singing it since 1970 on both Sesame Street and The Muppet Show. "Rainbow Connection" didn't come around for about a decade later.
Maybe a tribute banner celebrating the Main Sesame Street performers. Maybe the banner could have each one's main character (or of them in some cases). Carroll Spinney (Big Bird), Marty Robinson (Telly), Kevin Clash (Elmo), Fran Brill (Prairie Dawn), Jim Henson (Ernie), Frank Oz (Bert), Jerry...
