The other night I dreamt I actually had the Bruno the Trashman suit in my possession, and it was in good condition, but then shortly after getting it I suddenly lost it (and I hadn't even put on the head yet to see how Caroll Spinney would have been able to see out of it).
I've always wondered what the embarrassment was about (perhaps he was jealous of Beaker, though Bunsen could just use the helmet to wish for his own).
That's one of my least favorite scenes in the special.
I doubt it. Somehow, her demanding the Muppets' money seems out-of-character for the...
Do you happen to know what the "publicity copies" were for? When I found that online I wondered what it was recorded for (it sort of looks like an informercial for the video... Was it a pitch to get retailers to buy them?).
My ranking:
1. A Muppet Family Christmas
2. It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie
3. The Muppet Christmas Carol
4. Letters to Santa
I have not seen A Christmas Together. I've watched a few clips on YouTube, listend to audio on The MuppetCast, and have the album (the release that's missing a...
I've noticed it for over a year (I had wondered if that was one of the performers... Looks a bit like Steve Whitmire to me, though I'd read that one of the actors who played a small locker person showed up to the screening unaware he was cut from the film).
I was thinking of an idea today, though it could be a little weird.... Basically, the Muppets go on a trip by airplane, but Gonzo goes onto the wrong plane, not realising it's the wrong airplane until after it's taken off, so Gonzo must jump from plane-to-plane to catch up with the right plane...
Were parodies protected by law back then (I would think so, considering all the classic WB shorts with parody titles that came out by then), or was fair parody use more recent?
Watched The Weather Lady for the first time, and noticed at one point Rocky refers to Boris by name, as if he knew...
I keep forgetting about Muppets Inside being a video game, mainly because it was a CD-ROM. I rarely consider computer games "video games" if they weren't also released on a console.
I liked it a lot better when I first saw it (I've been thinking about a lot of Henson stuff I like less than I first did... I wonder if my opinions of "The Muppets" will lower ina few years.... Nahhh...). Of course, around the time it was announced, I was sort of on a Follow That Bird kick...
And I bet there are millions more who know about the TMNT game than the Muppets game. Even without all the reviews from the likes of such online video critics as The Angry Video Game Nerd, I'm sure Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was more successful (The Angry Video Game Nerd pointed out in his...
I don't mind the Muppets ripping off Mario Kart or Mario Party. I remember when I first played Mario Kart 64 and the first Mario Party I kept thinking there needed to be Muppet versions of those games (and I thought the same when Pokemon Pinball came out, though I've never played Muppet Pinball...
Chapter 7
Soon, everyone went inside, to enjoy a warm fire and the Christmas tree.
“Wow, I sure did have a great first Christmas with the Muppets”, said Walter.
“Even though we got lost?”, said Fozzie.
“Yes”, said Walter, whistling “Have Yourself a Merry Little Chrismtas” as he walked...
Chapter 6
Soon, the Muppets were all outside, in the ski area.
“Wow, I can’t believe we’re finally here!”, said Walter.
“Well, let’s get started”, said Scooter.
“STARTED! STARTED!”, yelled Animal.
“Yeah, right on”, said Floyd.
“I have the cutest ski moves”, said Bean.
So they all...
Chapter 5
They went back to the repair shop, and the main mechanic just happened to come back at that moment.
“So, what did you think of our movie?”, asked Kermit.
The mechanic’s face turned red as he made an angry face… But then it all suddenly went away and he said, in a cheery mood, “I...
Chapter 4
“You know, Kermie”, said Piggy, “Since it’ll take awhile before things get fixed, let’s do some shopping.”
So they went to a nearby store.
“Oh, look, Kermie!”, said Piggy, “They have green dresses, and pink dresses, and purple dresses….”
Kermit looked nervous, knowing he...
Chapter 3
The Muppets were all pushing the car down the road. ‘80s Robot had completely broken down.
“This is hard work”, said Fozzie, struggling.
“I wish we could contact the others”, said Kermit, “They are probably wondering where we are.”
“Don’t any of you have cell phones?”, asked...
