TVshowsondvd.com mentioned it already it's called Feline Fantasies and should have the last three on them. If I remember correctly it comes out in the Summer, after Volume 3 of Garfield and Friends. I wanna say a May release date but you might wanna check that.
Truly one of the giants of the industry him and Tress MacNeille are in a league of their own in my opinion. Their portfolio is just amazing.
In the last year or so I've really taken an active interest in the field and especially those two because every cartoon I listen to I can find them in...
Well as the last generation that grew up with Saturday and afternoon cartoons it probably won't be till our generation starts becoming full-fledged parents.
I wish it were that easy but many of the rights were sold for the TV show, not the home video {or in this case DVD} sales of the show.
Gotta remember 20 years ago, the idea of releasing a TV show to home audiences seemed impossible. For one the VHS format just wasnt big enough {Space wise}...
As mentioned in the other thread i think the problem is the format. Shows like Garfield, Ninja Turtles and others can get away with narrower profit margins because everything is produced in house. The muppet babies has so many clips from so many films that you'd end up paying a lot more for the...
Volume 3 is coming on 4/19/05.
At that rate {every 4 months} it would seem we could expect V.4 in August and the 5th and final volume in December of 2005, just in time for Christmas.
Oh my gosh me too!
I got all the episodes off kazaa but nothing beats top quality DVDs.
Personally if Muppet Babies, Ducktales and Real Ghostbusters came out i'd be content.
Like others, there are just too many to count.
The one where they lose a key and have to go underground to get it comes to mind.
The one where they break piggy's playhouse so then piggy has to decided amongst which designs she likes the most.
Man there are just so many good one's, it...
phew at least this thread didnt dive into an "anime" thread like it looked like it was going.
Something about 20-something fan boy's running just reminds me a little too much of my ex-roommate and his anime hub's and expo's and other "interesting" activities.
Got nothing against anime, it...
I do think it'll happen eventually. I mean if you would have told me two years ago that we'd see the tv show explosion like we have, I wouldn't believe it.
But studios are starting to realize that people really like the concept of tv on dvd and it makes a lot of sense really. It gives people...
I keep seeing Fishtales at Wal-mart myself.
Though I am still waiting for Disney to open their vaults and release Ducktales and Rescue Rangers.
Hopefully they follow the Garfield approach {Can't wait for set 2}.
Sheesh Muppet Babies {Though only a few}, Garfield and Pee Wee's Playhouse, along with a release of the original ninja turtles..... I feel like recreating CBS' old saturday morning mega lineup.
To some extent that is true. There is always plenty of garbage floating around for everyone.
However there were also some cartoons that were pretty good.
CBS probably had the best lineup of Children's programming.
Muppet Babies, Pee-Wee's Playhouse, Garfield and Friends, Ninja Turtles...
