    Favorite Performer

Well, of course I love Jim Henson, but aside from him it would be Carroll Spinney and after that maybe Jerry Nelson. I think Nelson is the best at singing.

    Penguins or rats?

    HAHAHAHAHAA!!!! :zany:

Same Muppeteer Having Two Characters in One Scene

Yes, Richard Hunt had half of the Two Headed Monster. I knew he had one too but i couldn't remember. But as Henson may have done voices for a couple Monsters, he never had a principle monster character. He was the only one who hasn't.
  4. BEAR

Same Muppeteer Having Two Characters in One Scene

I actually do associate him as a monster. Yes, he is a Grouch and that is the "species" he belongs to, but to me he is a monster character. He looks just like the other Monsters, just with a gloomy expression.

Sesame Street set 1 in Oct/Nov

I thought it would be sooner than this, but oh well. Maybe there are still some tweaks to work out with the figures. I am just waiting in anticipation for first looks at Bert and The Count.

    The Penguin

But was it Davey and Joey or were they just meant to be "random monkeys"?
  7. BEAR

    The Penguin

Yeah, I know, but we are referring to the Sesame Street penguins.

Same Muppeteer Having Two Characters in One Scene

I just realized today that with some of the recent cast changes, it will be easier to put our three favorite blue monsters together: Grover (Eric Jacobson), Cookie (David Rudman), and Herry (Jerry Nelson). Also, did you ever notice how Jim Henson was the only Muppeteer not to have a monster...

    The Penguin

I guess they do seem to be paired up a lot. I really miss when they used to do Joey and Davey Monkey. They were so cool! What ever happened to them. "Ba-nanas!"

    Happy Birthday Kermiebabieeeeeeeeee!!!

    Penguins or rats?

The penguins always make me laugh just by seeing them. Even if they don't do anything particularly meant to be funny. The rats are cool. I've always loved Rizzo, but the others are just okay. They don't stand out in any way special. I was impressed with the Rat scat sequence in Muppets Take...

    Battle of the Muppet All-Stars

I was excited to see a new chapter written. I particularly liked the melting witch bit. Totally random and unexpected. Only the Muppets would have something happen like that. Also the poor Honker and Sherlock was hilarious. I enjoyed Sherlock's "old bean" line. One of my favorite British...

    Hoots the Owl appreciation thread

Hoots also sang a song about taking baths with little film clips of people and animals and things getting clean.
  15. BEAR

    The Penguin

Yeah, then that would probably be Joey Mazzarino. I find that sometimes David Rudman's characters and Joey Mazzarino's characters sound a lot alike. Rudman's Baby Bear and Humphrey sound really close but not exactly the same as Mazzarino's Stinky and Elephant.
  16. BEAR

    The Penguin

Yeah, in Elmopalooza it was David Rudman. You can tell because he sounded just like Baby Bear.

Muppet College Dorms: The Next Semester

Bry: Well, I think I am gonna go outside and sit by the pool and work on my story. Rosita: Ooh, Bryan, I'll come with you. I will play you some thinking music on my guitar. Bry: Okay. What about you, Big Bird? You gonna join us? Big Bird: Oh, no thanks. (watching Biff, Sully and...

    Suggestion

I agree. There doesn't need to be any more moderators/staff members. It is very well kept and controlled and it kinda adds to the charm and intimate atmosphere of the place. Besides, there are a lot of members here, but not very many regular active ones. Its a pretty small group.
  19. BEAR

    The Penguin

Yeah I love that penguin. He is so cute. I loved it when the penguins were in Elmopalooza in Grover's taxi. I think that was the only time I have heard them talk though.
  20. BEAR

Characters who should have been babies

Elmo is basically already a baby, so it wouldn't really change anything.
