    Favorite Honker

There was also an elderly Honker with greyish fur. Also, wasn't the green shaggy haired Honker named Homer? Anyone remember how or why or when the Honker was given a name. He seems to be the only one who had one.

    Happy Birthday...Everybody!!!

No, it wasn't a bad idea. There were good intentions. We just don't see why we can't continue to do what we have been doing and then the threads can ba deleted after a few days or a week. Its not like there are that many birthdays in one day here on MC. Usually just afew.

Characters who should have been babies

Haha! From my POV, all of the men of the Electric Mayhem (excepting Animal) appear to be old burnt out musicians.

Something I noticed with the Muppets

This to me is the greatest idea as to why they do it and it makes perfect sense to me. I too have always noticed this but never thought all that much about it. I think Rowlf does it the most after he plays the piano. To me, it is simply just a "that was a lovely moment we shared. Thanks."

    The I Love Snuffy thread

As a friendly suggestion, why don't you start a Herry Monster appreciation thread.

    Separates

I wonder if its cuz Spinney was hired specifically for SS. Also, BB and Oscar are in a way the lead Muppet characters on Sesame Street (atleast the street segments) and Carroll needs to spend more time doing that. Most of the other performers do work for the Muppets, so they need atleast a...

    Penguins or rats?

In "Dance Myself to Sleep" Ernie called them the Boogie Woogie Sheep.

    Happy Birthday, AAO!

Yes, I know. If you want, go to that thread and read my post. It will explain my view on it.

    Happy Birthday...Everybody!!!

I like the individual birthday threads. It is more personal and I am sure it makes people feel special and appreciated, especially those who aren't around much or don't feel comfortable posting. I have seen birthday threads for names I never heard of or seen. It just makes this place more...

Same Muppeteer Having Two Characters in One Scene

Yeah, I just meant regular principle monster characters, not backgrounds.

Characters who should have been babies

I always see toys and things with baby versions of Bert, Ernie, Cookie, Bird, Oscar and I think Grover. Would be interesting to see a show made of it.

Happy Birthday, AAO! I hope you have been enjoying MC so far. Have a good day.

    Will Disney own Sesame Street?

I have a feeling that Sesame Workshop will be a lot more cautious with their characters, etc. They are very protective of their company and I don't blame them. I love the rest of the Muppet gang and all, but I wouldn't let just anyone touch Big Bird, Oscar and the rest of the SS gang.

Can you tell me how to get...

Congrats! I don't know anything about the Muppeteer auditions, but I have recently been in contact with Sesame Workshop casting as well regarding human casting. They are very kind there.

    Battle of the Muppet All-Stars

The Honkers are some of my favorite characters on Sesame Street. I wish they were featured more.

    Suggestion

Yeah, its okay for you to make an opinion like that. I guess we just didn't understand the reasoning behind it so much.

    Separates

I like that Spinney only performs characters on Sesame Street because it makes his appearances with the other Muppets (Muppet Movie, and notably Muppet Family Christmas) more special.
