Well, in fan fiction you don't have to worry abut securing character rights.
After finishing this I started wondering if I should have had Kermit and April O'Neil team-up. I'm not sure if they would have had food chemestry or not. Of course April was only a news reporter in the original...
Today I was at Goodwill and found a copy of Getting Ready for School. And I was surprised to see the Time-Life Video logo on the sides of the box. I had no idea that Time-Life released Sesame Street videos, particularly those that were sold in stores.
Aside from the Time-Life logo on the...
Here's the quote from the interview:
I read that you were getting only $5 a show for Sam and Friends. Is that anything like reality?
HENSON: Yeah, well when I first started working, it was $5 a show; it was probably a little higher by the time I got to my own show, but I remember that they...
Considering the show used so many existing record tracks, I'm not surprised. I doubt those are available because of they were used on Sam & Friends.
I know that "That Old Black Magic", "Under My Skin", and "Where Hunger Comes From" were lip-synched on the show.
There's an interview with...
Chapter 4
Grover had run down into the sewer.
“Splinter! Splinter!”
“Shh, not so loud”, said Splinter.
“Somebody called Shredder has captured the turtles, and can hypnotize others.”
“We’ve got to rescue the turtles and stop Shredder fast”, said Splinter, ”who knows what trouble...
Regarding the Kermit and Piggy relationship, I am surprised Piggy didn't consider using the Mind Mist on Kermit. Or maybe it would have been funny if Kermit made a subtle worried reaction when Bunsen presented the invention to Piggy (or maybe he did and it's so subtle we didn't notice :))...
I don't remember seeing that. But when I looked at this, in the Sesame Street Treasury 40th anniversary collection, it was a new copy at Meijer. It'd be terrible if a page was ripped out before anybody bought it (I can't remember if the pages are numbered or not).
I was thinking more about how uncomfortable it would be for the performers to get inside/underneath piles of garbage. What if they accidently got stuck with needles?
Last night I downloaded Krangenstein Lives on iTunes, and it was a great episode. It's interesting to see Krang's body move on it's own and even get a voice, and there's a funny subplot where Shredder gets amnesia, but he is still evil. Great episode.
Speaking of which, only three seasons are...
We don't really see them asking for help, but I take it that only Big Bird and/or Zoe asked for help. So why should the whole gang go to jail for it? They did seem to split up (something that should have been done in Muppets from Space), so maybe the others asked for help seperately and they all...
It would be interesting to know what everybody's "future plans" were before deciding to take Manhattan Melodies to Broadway. I'd be surprised if the jobs they took after leaving were what they majored in. The Electric Mayhem were probably planning on a music career of some sort (and they settled...
Chapter 3
Down in the sewer…
“Alright, turtles”, said Grover, “let’s FLY!”
“Uh, Super Grover 2.0”, said Michelangelo, nervously, “we can’t fly.”
“But I can”, said Grover.
“We know”, said Raphael, “you’re also not a turtle, dude.”
“Oh”, said Grover.
“You must also stay underground...
Chapter 2
The gang went down in the sewer.
“Watch your steps”, said Leonardo.
“I like the look and smell of this place”, said Oscar, “did you know that I almost lived in a sewer before settling for my trash can?”
“Why did you talk me into going down here, Ernie?”, said Bert.
“I...
Enjoy this fan fic, in which the Sesame Street cast teams up with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Imagine the turtles being the versions from the first two movies, even if they seem to have their animated personalities.
Chapter 1
It was an ordinary day on Sesame Street. The Count was...
He didn't have a personality, but I like to think he was shy (like his performer, Steve Whitmire) except for whenever he was playing the trumpet.
Then again, maybe he was really shy, despite playing the trumpet like a pro, and left the group because his trumpet-playing drew too much attention...
I'd want the card pieces to have mouth movement, which was what I expected (ignoring the fact that the talking faces in the commercials were obviously animated, seperately from the game pieces).
On the subject of merchandise, I saw a commercial for an elephant headed shower, which I guess you...
I used to think that the Guess Who game cards talked, because they did in the commercials (even though the announcer stated "game cards don't actually talk"... But I thought it meant regular playing game cards, not the Guess Who pieces). In fact I feel like one time, long before I actually...
Some more thoughts on The Muppets Take Manhattan.
I liked this movie a lot better when I was younger, but now I like it a lot less. I think one of my reasons for liking it so much is because at the time it was the only Muppet movie I didn't have a copy of, and it was hard to find in stores...
This year has been an interesting year for Sesame Street DVDs so far. These past two years there was pretty much one new DVD a month, though the last few months of those years were without new releases. And this year it seems it was one new release every other month, though there have been a...
