Well, it's been well over a year here in North America. That's more than enough time for me! I'd never seen this Valentine's special, that'd be great. In fact, I think a pre Muppet Show DVD set of their specials would kick butt!
I understand your sentiment, and I akin this type of situation to, say, a bus strike - the rider (or consumer/fan in this case) is the one who loses out. However, it's more of a cloudy issue than a company being mean.
It's not easy bein' mean
(sorry)
Intellectual property is a juicy...
Uh... well agents can't cast movies or shows themselves. That's a conflict of interest. This was going on where I'm from, and someone tried to blow the whilstle. This backfired and got the person black-balled.
There, how's that for short-long story?
Yes. Many people wear many hats.
So which of those gentlemen is a talent agent?
I'm not necessarily directing this at you, OverUnderaround.
There are lots of people I enjoy speaking with in this forum. But I have to say that I've come across many people who make implications and...
My Bert, Fozzie, Piggy, Grover & Animal got me to the puppet phase of the auditions!
There, I said it! To heck with restraint!!! I got to use Fozzie w/ Terry Angus' Kermit!!!
(sorry, but so few other people care!)
Er... a talent agent who is also a program director who is also a network executive producer who is also a writer?
This 'person' would would have every union in the biz down their throats for breaching proprieties. It's called confilct of interest.
BTW, Deb McC's a nice lady.
I think I know what you mean. It sounds kind of like a lot of people's imitation of kermit. Jim Henson put so much of his real voice into Kermit, so his didn't sound 'put on'. But there's a big improvment on SW's behalf from MCC to IAVMMCM (I don't own MWoO, but I don't remember it being bad).
I...
Well, I'm not too hard on the others for trying to do Jim's voice. I like Steve's Kermit. I mean, we can't have Jim's, so... it's like that Stephen Stills song
If ya can't be with the one you love
Honey, love the one your with!
