Just do not trust Suits to handle what should be a creative area, leave them in marketing and accounting .Suits and Muppets dont mix

Completely agreed, though had I not identified that she was a woman, most would have assumed the new boss was male.

Basically, Debbie McClellan seemed to be the main contact from the begining anyway.Could it be her who was promoted???

Gender in this case is neither good, nor bad. It's a non-issue in getting the job done imo.

What they do with the Muppets (and pleeeeese do something) has nothing to do with plumbing.

They've done quite a bit already.

Debbie McClellan started with the Henson's as an Office Temp and somehow rose up the corporate ladder. Still it's amazing that she was an Office Temp and got this far in her career.

Some times I wonder if she rose through the ranks because Henson executives abandoned ship and they left her alone to steer.

I don't think Deb is the right person to lead the Muppets, yes she knows the Muppets well, but what the Muppets need is some kind of Entertainment Talent Agent that has the experience at booking and creating TV and movies jobs for his clients.

Here's the lady (that works for Disney) that I would like to see run the Muppets.
http://corporate.disney.go.com/corporate/bios/anne_sweeney.html

Looking at her résumé, she looks like someone that gets things done.

Er... a talent agent who is also a program director who is also a network executive producer who is also a writer?

This 'person' would would have every union in the biz down their throats for breaching proprieties. It's called confilct of interest.

BTW, Deb McC's a nice lady.
