I never saw the Jim Henson Hour. Was it better than Muppets Tonight? I thought MT was okay - not as bad as people say. Half of the episodes were unavailable in Canada.

Maybe he/she meant that thaey'd slap down a $600 bid, hoping to win it by a landslide while giving the creator what they deserve for it.

Of course. Nothing wrong with having more than one gig! We were just speculating about renumeration for donning the Disney 'classic muppets' (nudge, wink).
Who knows, but the value depends totally on the demand for them or projected income for various projects.
As for pay, yeah it's private, but who cares? I'd have no idea what they make or how they're renumerated. I ber DG gets the most, seeming as he's the most senior, then SW, blah, blah...
... I know what you mean. They used to be 'event' films. I haven't seen one this year. The last good one I saw of CG was The Incredibles. I really enjoyed that one.
