I'm not convinced. There's nothing stopping people from doing this now, and hollowing out these Kermits for puppeting purposes isn't rocket science.
There are Kermit puppets out there. People do do things with them, whether it be tasteless silliness, or attempts at 'real' appearances.
Dude, back then, we dealt with the boring stuff. There weren't 500 satellite channels to pick from. Changing the channel in mid-show was not a common thing to do. SS had TONS of boring stuff in it. That crying baby milk film was boring at the time, it's hilarious in retrospect though.
I don't...
If these were puppets, I'd get all of them. I mean, it's like getting a Vader helmet that you can't put on and use the force on people with.
Oh wow! Muppets! Use them, make them talk n' stuff.
Can't, sorry. They're photo puppets.
Huh?
Yeah, I agree about Jim Nabors and Bruce Forsythe. Lena Horne was kind of.. meh.
Man, the only season fresh in my mind is season one, the only one I have on DVD. I can't remember the other 4 as well.
Er... do they get funnier, like the early movies? I'm having a muppet memory lapse!
:concern:
Merci tres bien, Vector! It looks filmed, not video-taped. Cool!
LOL! I like it!
For you non-French speakers, it's easy & simple like season one of the first show. As a puppeteer, I'd say that I've no complaints with the movements. It's as if they just all started speaking French!!
I can understand how this new show upsets Americans - or at least makes them a little jealous - for now. But hey - at least they're not sitting in a mothballed closet, so to speak.
I hope Disney gets organized, lets the dust settle, and then starts to make some creative and productive...
BBF,
That milk clip, was it the one which shows a baby in a crib crying for milk intercut with shots of a dairy farm? You know, with a woman's voice repeating "miiiiiilk"? That was weird & funny at the same time.
