I liked the one about babies:
"You've got baby hands, baby feet.....baby (something.....)"
Sorry, don't remember it too good, but it also goes:
"You're my B-A-B-Y, my beautiful baby, my beautiful baaaaby!"
To quote my husband's cousin, "I just don't think he has anything good to say." (On why she doesn't let her kids watch SpongeBob).
I've tried watching it, but I find no appeal in it.
The animated bit about littering. Something along the lines of "if every kid did it....yuck!" And then they show the earth, and it's super grimey looking.
I love looking for my old stuff when I'm at my parents house. I was actually looking for my Smurf A.M radio when I found my Cookie Counter. I never did find the radio though.
Did anyone else have one of these? It's from about 1985. It's a computer thing with Cookie Monster. It's yellow plastic, with a raised blue plastic Cookie Monster. It has buttons for numbers, as well as two arrow buttons. There's a couple of different things you can do with it.
1) You...
The Beatles
Sesame Street
my cats
and when I'm at work: Spider Solitaire on the computer. (not that I'm supposed to be playing it.... :o ) Anyone ever play that game?
My husband and I like "Aster", which is a wildflower. It looks like tiny light purple daisies. But again, the As.... sound.
Don't want to really put a kid through that. Our last name is bad enough (sounds a lot like male anatomy)
I was thinking there was one in the kitchen too. Was it the one where they are balancing cherries on a scale? Ernie keeps eating the cherries to make the scale even. Anyone remember?
I hope I'm correct on this, but I heard on my local radio station that it was 35 years ago today that Sesame Street premiered.
Although the show has changed over the years, let's be thankful for the creators of the show and that it is still on after all these years!
Hurray for Sesame...
I just saw that episode yesterday! I remember that song from when I was little, but this one looked re-made. I can't remember what the original was like. Any info anybody?
