I have heard that Rowlf was almost considered to be on Sesame Street but Henson decided to keep him separate. He did do the pitch reel though along with Kermit. I think that Kermit even back then had a special connection with Kermit the Frog and wanted to use him more.

Also, another odd combo was seeing Kermit and Baby Bear interact on one of the hurricane episodes. It seemed kinda weird. I don't think Big Bird and Kermit interacting in CEOSS was odd at all. It was actually really cool to see those two together. They weren't seen onscreen together...

I don't think so, but that's just me. Maybe Big Bird and Telly, or Big Bird and Baby Bear. For some reason Big Bird and Snuffy doing that scene would be weird. Couldn't hurt though.

I think when I was younger my grandma would watch Sesame Street sometimes. She probably found it to be fun and better than most of the daytime tv that was on at the time. Also she could understand what i was always talking about. lol I have an exceptionally cool grandma though.
