There is a thread here about odd Muppet combinations, but it made me think of characters on Sesame Street that I love seeing together for one reason or another, even if it is infrequent.
Characters that I like to see together are:
Oscar with just about anybody, especially Telly, Big Bird...
Some of these characters have appeared together quite frequently on albums.
I think that Elmo has shared a scene with just about every principal Muppet character on Sesame Street. Well...in a way. The Elmo's World segments feature several different characters sending email to Elmo. Some of...
I have heard that Rowlf was almost considered to be on Sesame Street but Henson decided to keep him separate. He did do the pitch reel though along with Kermit. I think that Kermit even back then had a special connection with Kermit the Frog and wanted to use him more.
The earliest copyright date for this song is 1985. This info was taken from the Songs From the Street cd booklet. Hope that helps.
It has been recorded on numerous Sesame Street cd compilations. I can't tell you when it was first performed on the show, but probably no earlier than 1985...
In & Out fries rule out all these. Not only are they the best tasting but they are also the healthiest of all the fast food places.
but between the 2 first mentioned...i'll say McD's
Nah! I'm not quite there yet. I am in a wonderfully steady and serious relationship, but we aren't ready to be married. Finishing school is kind of a priority.;)
Stinky the Stinkweed was one of the plants, the other was what appeared to be the Stuckweed Plant that was seen in The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland (only here in a pot). This one had a female voice though, you're right. So I'm not really sure how you would list that. I would probably make...
To my knowledge it is newly released due to the recent hurricane events. These hurricane episodes were originally aired before september 11th as a means of teaching kids about disasters and dealing with fear and emotions. Some say that it aired after the September 11th events because they had...
Yes he is still a Muppet. They are always creditted as the "Sesame Street Muppets".
These people don't sound very nice on that board. Maybe they should do the research if they really want to know. Its also obvious that they never watched as a child. Maybe they did and they are making fun...
Also, another odd combo was seeing Kermit and Baby Bear interact on one of the hurricane episodes. It seemed kinda weird.
I don't think Big Bird and Kermit interacting in CEOSS was odd at all. It was actually really cool to see those two together. They weren't seen onscreen together...
I don't think so, but that's just me. Maybe Big Bird and Telly, or Big Bird and Baby Bear. For some reason Big Bird and Snuffy doing that scene would be weird. Couldn't hurt though.
Another thing to note since we are now getting into Muppet Show guest stars and things, John Denver never fails to amaze me whenever he appears with the Muppets. He has done numerous specials with them and he relates to all of them like they are old friends. He is so natural and genuine with...
I think when I was younger my grandma would watch Sesame Street sometimes. She probably found it to be fun and better than most of the daytime tv that was on at the time. Also she could understand what i was always talking about. lol I have an exceptionally cool grandma though.
Boy, they sure have a lot of different versions of the sharing song. First it was Ernie and Cookie Monster, and then later they would do the exact same number with Ernie and Elmo, then Elmo and Zoe, and apparantly Elmo and Cookie too. They couldn't just have one or two different remakes?
Yes, I agree that Dave Goelz will continue the classic Muppet spirit along with Steve Whitmire. Maybe they could also get help from Susan Juhl for the writing. And of course...Brian Henson.

Sal, I'm sorry, but the tribe has spoken. Have a safe trip home. The Muppet Chopper will be waiting in the lagoon for...
You are right. I have noticed some as well. I agree with you about Gina and Telly, especially after seeing the hurricane episodes. She is a great "big sister" figure on the show just like how Maria was in the earlier years.
Big Bird seems to have good chemistry with just about everyone...
