No, this is not the end. Sure there are certain effects that is nicely achieved through CGI such as Telly fullbodied on a pogo stick and what not. They aren't going to make all Muppetry computerized though. It wouldn't be the same show. That is what makes the Muppets so charming. They are...
Yeah, that does help. Thank you. I would love for them to bring back classic SS reruns (like Unpaved) only on a more accessable station. I can't get this new Sprout channel so that doesn't work for me. It would be even better if they could release season sets. They could be full episodes...
Telly: Hey, did you hear that? Ed said that all that fun carnival stuff will be here all week!
Rosita: Alright! Party!!
Telly: Quick, Rosita, put your costume back on.
Rosita: Okay! Hehehe!
(Telly and Rosita get back into costume--Phil Chapman and Zorra)
Bry: Oh, those two...
Yeah, I know! I think there may have been a time or two when Ernie would try and get in bed with Bert because he was having a nightmare or something, but that was for comedic purposes. I mean, it would just be like how a little brother tries to jump into his older brother's bed for security or...
Bob McGrath
Linda Bove
Alan Muraoka
Savion Glover
Ruth Buzzi ("Ruthie")
I would say that since these people use their own first names, they probably still have the same last names unless mention otherwise (which there hasn't been yet).
Thats so funny because I never actually thought of "Around the Corner" being off the street. I just assumed it was some kind of back alley area. Maybe it is a separate street.
Also, I know the book you are referring to with Count and Mumford. I have it too, which is why I thought Mumford...
Its ridiculous, especially since there is nothing about Fred Rogers that even has the hint of gay. Just because a man is warm and gentle and loves children makes him gay? Oh bother... The guy was married and wasn't he a minister?
Rose,
I am supportive in that you want to see more classic episodes available, but how do you want them to be shown? Do you want them to air complete episodes from the past, some more classic clips thrown in to the current shows, classic episodes released in a dvd set? How?
Also...
I mean some of these guys are the same people that make comments about Ernie and Bert being gay, because they don't care to find out more and know otherwise.
Just saw the promo for it. It looks like it will feature Elmo, Rosita, Grover and Telly. It looks like it will be really fun. I think it comes on Friday. I'll be setting my timer for this.
Oh well...people just don't understand. It's like that whole thing where people don't consider the Sesame Street characters to be "The Muppets" simply because they weren't on The Muppet Show or they don't hang out with Miss Piggy and stuff. If only they took the time to notice that they were...
Good point. There were a few characters that didn't actually live on Sesame Street as well. The Count being one of them. He had a castle in Transylvania. Boy, that's quite a commute. No wonder we don't see him as often anymore. I believe Mumford has a castle somewhere too. Sherlock...
Well (if you ask me) if they were going to use another character to talk with the kids it should have been the Count. It only makes sense. The Count was only there briefly in the beginning and hardly did anything. He would have been great at finding out the answers to the Santa mystery. I...
(Telly and Rosita still dancing and singing with excitement after music stops)
Both: He did the mash
Telly: He did the monster mash!
Both: The Monster mash
Rosita: It was an instant smash
Both: They did the MASH!!
Telly: Hahahaa! Oh boy, I love that song! Hahaha!
Kermit was shown talking to a couple of girls. Yes, Grover ended up being used for most of the interviews, but if you think about it that could just be how it was after editting. Kermit and Grover both probably talked to number of kids, or atleast talked more with the kids shown. They just...
Hoots: (swoops in dressed as an old wizard, he is carrying his Saxaphone) Hey, hope I didn't miss anything.
Bry: Hey, Hoots, glad you're here.
Hoots: Hey, Count baby! You wanna sing that Monster song now or later? Its an old tradition, ya know.
Snuffy (the Dragon): Hey, Bird! What are you doing up there!!
Aviator Big Bird: (up in the air) I dunno! I didn't think I'd ever really be flying like this. How do I get down?! Oh no! I'm coming in for a landing! I've never landed before either!!!
Rosita ("Zorra"): Never fear...
Bry: Well, we're back from Sesame Street. Did you guys have fun?
Big Bird: Yeah, it was fun to see everyone.
Rosita: Didn't Gabby and Miles look great in their costumes?
Snuffy: Oh yeah! Hey, and Gordon was a great Jack Pumpkin Head, but then again he didn't have to do much.
Big Bird...
Its funny you mention Herry doing that because I have the book that they made based off of the special and Herry asks the kids, along with Grover and Kermit, also.
By the way, were Count and Cookie even on the bus during that song? Ernie and Bert were there but I don't remember seeing the...
