To me, any time after Halloween ends is fair game. That is why I like it when Halloween comes because as soon as the day is over, the greatest time of the year begins. I just love the holiday season. And Thanksgiving and Christmas have always been cousins to me. They go together. I dunno...
I agree with what you are saying but I don't think I would even consider the music to be "80s style". It had more of a 60-70s hippie feel to it. But, yes, it should have the same sort of feel that the music always had on the show. I wouldn't mind if they revamped the theme song a little though...
To be completely honest, Mrs. Pepper, I don't even remember what it is we didn't get along about. LOL. It must have been pretty dumb then. It doesn't matter though because now we are buddies.
Thanks, Beau, for starting this nice thread. I know that there have been times that I let myself...

It is always like this:
Cookie Monster
Herry Monster
Telly Monster
and then:
Grover
Elmo
Zoe...
It was Martin Robinson's own joke that he adlibbed because of Bert's awkward exchange with him. It wasn't originally scripted for them to say hello in passing until after they realized how weird it was that they were walking right by each other.
Do you mean Ernie? Yeah, I remember that. I also remember the clip on the Sesame Street Biography that they showed of the Bert and Ernie scene where Telly comes over to play with Ernie and Bert leaves. And they were saying how awkward it was because Telly and Bert basically walk right by each...
I don't revisit my elementry school and I have not really visited my high school for a couple years either. The closest I came was my HS drama teacher just retired after about 12 years of teaching there and a huge party was held in her honor. I got to visit many all of my old friends...
You're right, there are so many terrific shows out there for kids that Sesame Street has paved the way for. However, Sesame Street still manages to be educational and highly entertaining at the same time...almost to the point where you forget you're learning.
