I see what you are saying but it may not be too weird. Kids come up with silly things like that all the time. I am kinda seeing Zoe now as a kid whose parents won't let her have a real pet right now, so she has to carry out a fantasy of having a pet rock. Something that isn't actually alive.
I was thinking about that too. The Muppets Take Manhattan was filmed in 1983, a year before Follow That Bird started filming (1984). By the Time FTB began, Telly was a principal character.
Hoots: You're right, Ed. I forgot about the game. We will have to reschedule maybe til after the game. It can be a real twilight celebration. What time is everyone going back to the dorms?
Okay, here is what I have done today:
Exercise: Ran 1 mile around the block; 50 reps on the ab scissor machine; 50 pushups
Meals
Breakfast: 1 bowl of shredded wheat and lowfat milk
Lunch: ricebowl with chicken; no soy sauce or other condiments.

Gene Wilder's character was a little more mellow but he was still nuts. And in the end he had that scene where he went crazy and yelled. Plus, he added heart to the character. Johnny Depp added nothing. He was weird and crazy but no one cared about him. I mean, he a very unsympathetic...

Sorry about the accident. I can kind of relate. I was just in a pretty nasty car accident last night myself. Not my fault either. No one got hurt (thank goodness) but my car is not in the best of shape. The most important thing is that everyone is alive and well. We can be grateful for that.:)
This was a pretty good one. I thought Statler and Waldorf were pretty funny. I am still trying to get used to the new Statler voice, but the performances were still pretty good. The writing was great. The Bea Arthur bit was priceless! I laughed so hard. Of all the The Golden Girls to google...
Oh man! That is too comical. It looks like one of those bad imitations they would use in an SNL sketch or something. Or better yet, it looks like Elmo in prostetic make up to look like Yoda. It's just bad. Ugh. I mean, it's not a bad looking puppet in general, but it doesn't look very much...
i dunno. Makes no sense to me. I think in the Making of feature on the DVD they mention the song being cut because it slowed down the movie or something like that. What I don't understand is why was it on the VHS copy. I have the video and I would think that it is much harder to fast forward...
