To Baby Sinclair, I think you are right on all counts, except one: I think it was not Muppet Babies that killed off the Classic Muppets, but Elmo. It was right when Elmo came along that everyone suddenly began to think "The Muppets are just for kids!" Muppet Babies may have knocked out the...
Oh yeah, Henson was a genius. However, I am personally of the camp that prefers "Labyrinth" to "Dark Crystal" (I believe Danny Horn is in this camp as well.)
Hey Beau- thanks for placing me in there somewhere. I thought I was Rodney Dangerfield there for a bit- "I can't get no respect, hey, no respect at all!" And I'll send out a hello to Katie as well. By the way, they are all lying. It's not specifically BLOOD sausages we talk about here, just...
I suppose if you think hard enough, it could be B) KERMIT. Reason: it's a roundabout.
Statler is performed by Steve Whitmire, and Gonzo by Dave Goelz. So, if Clifford is performed by Kevin Clash, Steve must come back, and so B) is the right answer.
Kermitage is a great resource. Hands down their best section is the Character Guide- an invaluable resource for those playing Muppets 20 Questions. Their collectibles guide isn't as good as MC's collectibles guide.
Another One Bites the Dust was a terrific idea.
How about something by Billy Joel- "You May Be Right" would be good for a trade off with Teeth and Floyd.
I happen to like opinionated people so long as they don't get rude. So Movies2005, I like you. As for a sequel to the Dark Crystal:
Have there ever been any successful Muppet sequels? (And by this, I mean 'continuation stories' and not 'GMC was the sequel of TMM'.)
I know the name of the thread is different from the requirements, but I honestly couldn't think of three bad Muppet moments! So, post two or three, I don't care.
The Two Worst Muppet Moments
What are your two least favorite Muppet moments? Here are mine:
1) The breakup in "TMTM"
2) "Cookies Are A Sometimes Food"
Palisades is releasing those SS figures, so don't give up ALL hope.
Deadly is coming as an OMGCNFO exclusive, so I don't see why they couldn't release EM minis, Sal (WE NEED SAL!) or Beaker as an exclusive to them as well. Now I know that Beaker was with the first playset, but I don't have it...
Yes, "Muppet IQ level." I wonder if eventually in our high schools, in addition to the SAT, LSAT and PSAT we'll have MSAT- Muppet Standard Aptitude Test! Think about it-
15. STATLER is to GONZO as CLIFFORD is to...
a) FOZZIE
B) KERMIT
C) PIGGY
D) ROBIN
I wonder if his 'catfish' word came from the Toyfare 'Muppet Guide' issue:
"The catfish host of "Muppets Tonight!"..."
Clifford was never really a favorite of mine- he's certainly no Kermit!
While I will make no effort to call myself a "Muppet expert", I have started this thread as a question-and-answer. I am unsure if a thread like this has been started before as I am fairly new on the forum, but if it hasn't, then this is your source for asking Muppet questions. If a Muppet...
Scooter, bye bye.
Janice Wins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And here she is, to accept the award...
"Like, OK, like, this is a like great hon-ner for me, fer sher, because, you know, like, my band hasn't had a gig, roelly, in a few, like, YEA-rs, and even our, like, glossies didn't help, fer sher...
