It's like when people start blaming Disney of things related to Sesame Street. The Walt Disney Company has nothing to do with Sesame Street Muppet characters. People can't separate the two (or 3) groups.

I don't know what type of characters they were. Sounded like chickens or some type of bird. Quite possible they were penguins, but I really don't know. Those were the characters I was talking about that I believe Gould, Prell and Quinn voiced.

They are great singers I suppose, but I must say that I've lost so much respect for them and other celebrities that have behaved similarly.

Most of John Denver's songs remind me of the Muppets because he has appeared with the Muppets singing a lot of his songs and also his music has that beautiful earthy peace about them the same way the Muppets songs do. Make sense? I hope so.

They probably provided back-up vocals. In Rowlf's song, there is a chorus of characters that sing along with him.

Like the Muppets, cartoon characters go through just as much change and evolution in design.
