That's wonderfully fine. It isn't getting in the way of other more important priorities. I think that there is nothing wrong with good fun gambling, but it's important to be responsible about it just like alcohol. Have a drink every now and then, but don't risk your health.;)
What would the point of the sitcom be? Why isn't it enough that we see them in their own show everyday? It also has lots of comedy. I just want to know what would be different about it. Not trying to step on your idea, Kev.
No, it's not. Cookie Monster said so himself on his appearance on Martha Stewart. "One cannot live on cookie alone, but me not changing me name to Brussel Sprouts Monster."
As for the end of Sesame Street...not for a REALLY long time, if AT ALL! Especially after seeing the documentary that...
Hoots: Tonight's dorms were brought to you today by the letter M for moon, monsters, mayhem and music; and by the number 5 for 5 more days til Halloween. Night! (plays a smooth Sesame Street theme on the sax)
Big Bird: I heard talk about something happening tomorrow. What is it?
Bry: Not quite sure. Ed can be pretty sneaky about these things, but it might be the start of the Halloween festivities this weekend.
Big Bird: Really? But we don't even have our costumes yet!
Telly: What are we...
I agree with you about that. It's also in the writing and direction. I think that A Muppet Christmas Carol might have been the last we saw of the sympathetic/vulnerable Miss Piggy that I mentioned.
Wow, me too! I was CRAZY about the Laff-o-lympics!! I looked forward to it everyday on TV, along with Yogi's Treasure Hunt (or whatever that show was with the big flying pirate ship).
Bry: Mmmmm! I love deviled eggs! They're one of my all-time favorite party appetizers. I don't care if it's not your personal recipe, Kath. It's all the same to me! ;)
Speaking of food, let's get our take-out tacos and sit in front of the TV for our Thursday evening shows.
Telly: Right...
That is tough. I agree with what everyone here has said so far. It is definitely an addiction (basically in the gambling category) that can be serious if you aren't careful. If it is damaging your family's financial well-being, then get some help.
