So...I went to watch the new episode that was supposed to have been recorded on the Tivo and I discovered that someone had erased it! Grrrrrr!!! I'm so upset, because by Ilikemuppets' description, it sounded like it was pretty good (New song with Hoots, Grover in the street scene with...
I have to agree with this one!
Also, what you said about Rowlf makes sense because, besides Kermit, he has been around the longest. So it makes sense that he would be Dumbledore. He'd also play it with a sense of humor the same way the new actor currently playing the role does.
Thanks, Kyle!! This is exactly what I had in mind when I started the thread, but I was also surprised to see so many other Sesame Christmas albums that I never heard of.
Only one small complaint is that you didn't include either of Fran Brill's characters in it (even though you included her picture). Prairie Dawn would have been interesting to see (and I'm sure Kathy would have enjoyed it). Otherwise, you know how thrilled I am about this one!

Bry: In all honesty, Ernie, that doesn't really help much. In October this whole building is one big haunted house...
Really? I thought that song was perfect for Rowlf. I didn't find it childish. Atleast not in a bad way. The song is actually quite clever and funny. I mean, it is about a family sing-along around a piano...who better to sing it? Rowlf is the king of sing-alongs.
Ed, did you ever see the more recent all-star television production of Alice in Wonderland? It was from the last 10 years for sure. It starred Martin Short as the Mad Hatter, Whoopi Goldberg as The Cheshire Cat, Christopher Lloyd as the White Knight, Gene Wilder as The Mock Turtle, Robbie...
