Telly: (comes rushing downstairs to room 6) Wait!! wait!!
Ernie: What is it, Telly?
Telly: (tries to catch his breath) I...found...something...for Kathy's walker. *pant pant*
Bert: What?
Telly: This...(attaches a shoe to the bottom of the two front legs of the walker)
Bert: Telly...
Ernie: I guess Ed's not home.
Bert: Neither is the Count.
Ernie: That's funny. Usually one of them is home.
Bert: Well, Ernie, we should probably get this walker back to Kathy now. Ed and The Count can add to it later. Kathy's been without it for too long and it's important she has it...
Oh Kathy...I've said it before and I'll say it again when I quote my buddy Ernie: "Not minding, that's what friends are for." And we are you friends! Of course other forums respond that way. That's what makes MC so wonderful, and we don't turn our backs on a true friend who we care about...
Ernie: Hey, Kyle! (looks at walker) Wow! Look how colorful it looks, Bert!
Bert: Very festive! Hey, Ernie, why don't we take this down to Ed's room before giving it back to Kathy tonight.
Ernie: Great idea, old buddy!
(they take the walker down to room 1 for some final touches)...
Big Bird would only be able to pay if he a) had a job, which he doesn't, or b) had parents or guardians to pay for him or give him money to pay. We basically know that if anyone was considered his legal guardian, it would be Gordon and Susan. Or they're atleast his main guardians, even though...
Well, we never actually see Baby Bear pay for his porridge, but that doesn't mean he doesn't. He does have parents, so maybe they pay the tab later or give Baby Bear an allowance. Big Bird, on the other hand, has no parents other than Gordon and Susan.
I've also heard something about Big Bird not being allowed to be in the other International casts, but is he the only one? Are other U.S. characters allowed to? And what are the reasons for this?
Have you ever wondered what a birdseed milkshake tasted like or how to make one? We've seen Big Bird drink them for years. Well, I've recently gotten curious about this, so I finally decided tonight that I would do a little experiment. I made my own version of a birdseed milkshake and I gotta...
Lefty the Salesman was performed by Frank Oz (Bert/Grover/Cookie Monster), though I think there may have been a few early sketches when Caroll Spinney performed him. Oz was his main performer though.
Ernie: (calls up Sara's room) Oh, hi, Scooter! It's Ernie. Listen, if you're interested in adding to Kathy's walker that'd be great! Last I heard it was with Kyle, but I'm not sure if it's made it's way past there. Maybe you can go over there and make your contributions. Talk to you later!
Or the moment when Big Bird says goodbye to Oscar and he says "Why that's the nicest thing you've ever said to me." And then he wipes his face. It almost looks like he's wiping a tear from his face. Beautiful moment in an even more beautiful movie.
