This sounds like an awesome episode, Uncle Wally makes up a friend similar to Mr. Snuffleupagus, though he's intentionally playing around and trying to fool the others. I wonder if this was the first Wally heard of Snuffleupagus.

Probably not meant to be either (the Fat Blue Muppet was often dressed identically to Mr. Johnson in a lot of early sketches, where he's performed by Jim Henson, but people at Muppet Wiki determined that's not supposed to be him). If it was supposed to be Simon Soundman, they'd probably have him...
They were previously able to clear Bill Cosby's appearances for Noggin (not sure if there were clearance issues for Noggin), Old School Volume 1, and some of the iTunes episodes, so probably not clearance issues.
When You Wish Upon a Pickle was supposed to be released on DVD on the same day as the digital release, then was pushed to July 7, so it's still not available? I'm guessing the pandemic led to it being delayed, not sure if that's been the case with other DVDs or not.
Previously, I was thinking Mark Hamil and Carol Burnett were the only guest stars who appeared as both themselves and a character, with the two presented as two separate characters (as opposed to them playing themselves as a character in a sketch), but now I remember that John Denver appeared as...
Muppet Wiki reports that each song will be accompanied by three different clips, so I don't think any song clips will be truly uncut (though it seems to primarily be recent song videos created for YouTube), so I doubt there'll be any full Elmo the Musical clips (maybe songs from the segments).
I used to think Kermit didn't appear in much Sesame Street merchandise because I used to think that both Henson and Sesame Workshop co-owned the Sesame Street characters until 2000 and maybe Henson didn't want their fully owned character in Sesame Workshop merchandise. But I think it might be...
I like that we now know who performed the X in "How I Miss My X". I had been wondering about that back when the 50th anniversary DVD was released, and I'd suspected it was either Kevin Clash (who it was), Richard Hunt, or Martin Robinson.
Last night I dreamt that there was a Sesame Workshop employee who was also one of us, who had access to rare episodes and clips, and actually was allowed to share anything from Sesame Workshop online. I didn't make any requests for him on what I wanted to see, and I actually didn't see other...
It seems like the trusted sources now include info on who all performed in certain segments. Not sure if these are newly-acquired documents (maybe call sheets) or if that info had been there all along and their just now adding info, but it is neat to see who all performed in sketches such as Do...
I've been surprised to hear that some of the episodes this season did not air in high definition. I thought basically everything was shot in high definition these days, why present it only in standard definition (and is it difficult to convert to standard definition if it was shot in HD?).
I...
Muppet Wiki points out that some of the celebrities who contributed to the celebrity version of Put Down the Duckie didn't appear in any Sesame Street material outside that montage (I guess it's possible they did segments that didn't test well enough to make it to the show or the final aired...
Well, the heads and bodies are usually separate pieces. I typically notice it on Ernie when he's in the bath tub.
Recently, somebody on Facebook was telling me that many of the Muppets have removable parts. Not too sure how true this is, but they were saying that heads and arms are often...
Considering the smaller number of episodes each season (even if it's gone up a little since 2016) and the fact that they're 30 minutes now, it is a wonder that they repeat non-recurring segments multiple times a season, much less this many times.
I don't feel right talking about it, but I heard that John John has a Bill Cosby-level offense. I wondered if Sesame Workshop would stop putting out his segments, since it's not as well-known as the Cosby thing. I have noticed that John John clips seem to no longer be available in the official...
