Ernie: Cookie Monster, no! That's not a...
Cookie: (eats the basket)
Bert: That was one of my favorite peices of literature. Two Flew Over the Pigeon's Nest. *sighs*
Cookie: Urp!
Bert: (hiding behind a table) Cookie, please stop!
Ernie: Where's Bryan?
Bert: He went to eat dinner with his family, remember?
Cookie: Cookie dinner! Yum yum! *lip smack* *chomp chomp*
Ernie: It's no use, Bert! We may have to call Super Grover!
Bert: Super Grover?
Ernie: Uh huh.
(In Erin's room...)
Bert: I don't think I can hold onto him any longer!
Cookie: (Breaks free of Bert and Ernie's hold and starts going after the baking stuff) COWABUNGA!
Cookie: (oogling over the chocolate mint cookies) Cookies? Cooookieees! (devours the entire batch given to him) Yummy!

Wow...I'm lovin' this story, Beth! I can't wait for more. I was predicting Oscar would have gone to Grouchland, but maybe not. That's up to your own creative genius. Like Ed said, if you need any help with ideas, let me know. I'd be happy to help get the cookie juices flowing!
Bert: (knocks on Erin's door) I hope she's home. Oh hi, Erin.
Ernie: Hi there, Erin...and friends! Khekhekhe!
Bert: We just wanted to see if Scooter was feeling better and if he enjoyed those books.
Ernie: Hey, Beige. Did you hear about Bunsen holding the exploding kiwis? Guess you...
I think you're right on it here. I believe he is very proud of his work and thinks fondly about HIS time with The Muppets and Sesame, but he is unhappy with the way things have been going currently. Similarly to how most of us feel about it. I used to think the same thing about Frank...
Bryan: Here, buddy, I just picked these up from the store. (hands Cookie Monster a box of Joe-Joe's sandwich cookies from Trader Joe's)
Cookie: Oh, thank you!
Bert: I didn't know we had a Trader Joe's in Hensonville.
Bryan: We don't. I went out of the city today for those.
Bert: Oh...
Snuffy: Well, Halloween is just around the corner.
Big Bird: Yep.
Cookie: Halloween?
Big Bird: Yeah, you know the holiday in October with all the pumpkins and ghosts and monsters.
Cookie: MONSTERS! (hides behind Big Bird)
Big Bird: But Cookie, you're a monster.
Cookie: Oh yeah...me...
Bryan: How was the reading, Cookie Monster?
Cookie: Deelicious!
Bryan: Which was your favorite?
Cookie: Coconut macaroons. Though Ed's Batty Butterscotch tasty too!
Bert: No, the books.
Cookies: Books?
Ernie: Cookie Monster, didn't you listen to any of the stories?
Cookie: Oh...
Cookie: So long!
Bryan: Hey, Cookie, where are you going?
Cookie: To book reading club.
Bryan: Oh okay. Have fun!
Cookie: Oh, me will! (Smacking his lips) Bye bye!
Bert: (enters carrying a pair of black dress pants neatly folded on a hanger) Here you go! All nicely pressed.
Bryan: Thanks, Bert! I owe ya one.
Ernie: Say, where are you goin' all dressed up, anyway?
Bryan: A special gala for the theater I just worked with. It's basically an event to...
