I am not usually up at this time, but to be honest I have not been able to sleep all night. I signed on just now at 6 am my time and was amazed to see so many of my MC buddies signed on also, such as Beth, Ed, Ryan and Kathy. All at once! Do you normally log on this early?
I've been thinking a lot about the Muppets and Disney lately and all the things that were planned but fell through (Muppet Christmas Caper, Next Top Muppet, etc...). Will someone please explain to me again why the Henson Company decided to sell the Muppets to Disney?
So I just bought the first DVD set of the Best of Rowan & Martin's Laugh In, and on it there is a great exclusive interview with Ruth Buzzi in the bonus material. She mentions how it was to work on Sesame Street and it was interesting. She said it was a different experience from other...

Phillip,
Is there any way that I can set up my account so that I am not getting a bunch of emails every time someone posts something in one of the threads? It just gets to be too much and it clogs up my inbox with so many emails. I don't need to email notices because I check up on new posts...
So, I've been watching the America's Got Talent show on NBC and there is this AMAZING ventriliquist in the competition named Kevin Johnson. Has anyone else seen this guy? He's great! What he does goes far beyond any other ventriliquist act I've seen.
Hey all!
I was thinking about making a trip to the Museum of Television and Radio here in Los Angeles and was wondering what they had there to see and do. What are the must-sees? Also, anything Henson/Muppet related? I think the admission is free but I want to make the most out of my...
Just look at today's birthdays. Check out the first name on that list. HAHAHAHAHA!! That's all I got. I'm so sorry. This thread might get closed, but I just couldn't resist. It made me laugh.
Sharing the same performer, have Telly and Snuffy ever interacted together? I know they have been in the same scene, but have they ever really interacted as in talk with each other?
Any of you remember when Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop came to visit Sesame Street? What was that song that Shari sang to Lamb Chop about meeting people? I loved that scene.
Looking for lyrics to a few of the newer songs. More specifically the one with Big Bird and Elmo singing about "taking a break". And also the one with Big Bird, Baby Bear and his parrot Ralphie where they sing about how Baby and Ralphie are the same and different. Any help would be sooooo...
Just had a thought...
Since there are so many things going on with the Muppets such as book/film releases, television programs, screenings, conventions, etc., what if we had some sort of calendar of events feature at Muppet Central to keep track of all these dates. What do you think?
Anyone know anything about this book?

Yesterday, May 21st, marks one whole year for me as a member of this wonderful place called Muppet Central! This is more than just a forum. It is another family. What a fun year it has been with you all and I thank each and every one of my friends here for making it so special.
Here's to...
Look out world! Yesterday (May 13, 2006), I graduated from college with a BFA in Musical Theatre. I can't believe it, it feels so strange. I am excited and a little scared at the same time. I really feel like a "grown up" now. Crazy!!
