Kermit's performance made me sad. It was almost as sad as seeing Bob Hope get older and more vegetable-like. What was even sadder about the broadcast?...David Hasselhoff's performance....
(In room #29 watching Kermit and Piggy on an encore broadcast of America's Got Talent...)
Bryan: What's wrong with Kermit's voice.
Big Bird: He must have a cold...
Bryan: Or a human in his throat! (cracking himself up) Hahahahahaa!
Big Bird: Huh?
Bryan: (clears throat)...
But the Count is different because I feel it's his official title, just like "President" or "Captain" or "General"...like that. When talking to him, you would say, "Hi, Count!" But when talking about him, you would call him "THE Count." Make sense?
Hey Prawny! Thanks! Just let me know what you'd like me to do. I could do some features, character or actor/performer profiles...whatever you want...let me know.
Bryan: Good ol' Suite 29, here we are!
Big Bird: It's so nice to be back. I missed my nest here.
Bryan: Yep. Well, we better start unpacking.
Hoots: Hey, guys! You missed all the activity.
Big Bird: Hi, Hoots!
Bryan: What activity?
Hoots: A couple o' kids tyin' the knot.
Bryan...
It seems to me the reason Bert and Ernie weren't there were probably because Eric Jacobson and Steve Whitmire couldn't make it. If you notice, every other main performer was there with one of their characters.
Well, the studio is in Astoria/Queens. I always imagined the fictional location might be similar. Then again...is the park on the show meant to be Central Park? Something to thing about?
Hi guys!
It was a truly exciting night for Sesame Street! Like you all said, it was fun to see so many of the Human cast members there, but it was also a thrill to see the Muppeteers as well (Carroll Spinney, David Rudman, Fran Brill, Marty Robinson, Leslie Carrerra and, of course, Kevin...
My wife and I went to see Up last Sunday and we absolutely LOVED it! She also said it was one of the best movies she has ever seen and I have to agree. That isn't often said about an animated picture either. It was wonderful and it is just another example of how amazing the Pixar company is...
I really enjoyed most of them for what they were and what they each brought to the show. Of course, my ultimate favs have always been Susan, Bob, Maria, Linda, Olivia, Alan and Roscoe Orman's Gordan.
I've also liked Ruthie and Savion.
(In the lobby...)
Bryan: Hey, look!
Big Bird: What's that?
Bryan: Blue prints.
Big Bird: They're blue alright. Bryan? What's a blue print?
Bryan: It's basically the map of the dorms.
Big Bird: Oh.
Bryan: It's about time someone made something. This way new people won't get lost...
I read through it all too and really enjoyed it. I was even surprised to see that I was nominated for a couple of things. It's nice to know that even though I wasn't around the forums very much in this last year, I still have a presence in your Muppety lives! :)
