Pet peeves? Oh wow, where do I begin? Let's see...
1) Celebrity gossip/news – I’m sure everyone (well, just about everyone) will agree with me on this. But no matter where I go, no matter where I surf online, there’s always a chance that I’m gonna see “____ AND ___ TIE THE KNOT!“ "___ AND...
Okay, I've noticed that...
*Ernie and Bert live in the basement of 123, and their windows are behind the railing (or dumpster? Whatever it’s called). However, with the exception of season 1, all we see out the window is a blue sky
Even more peculiar is in the skit where Bert goes...
Another one...
This is from the early 1970s (between seasons 2-5):
A small pink AM girl (performed by Carroll Spinney) and Little Bird (seen in a cage) are in a hole/window on top of the gray building in the Arbor Area.
GIRL: This bird is my (holds up sign reading PET)...pet.
LB: Hey...
There was an episode from season 2, or 3 (it involved Matt Robinson as Gordon, so that's how I can tell) where Kermit was sick so the adults took care of him. I read a transcript of the first few seconds somewhere years ago - what happens is Gordon, Mr. Hooper and some kids were about to play...
I don't know if anyone remembers this, but back in 2004, there were several commercials on VH1 advertising their week-long series "In Search of The Partridge Family". The commercials featured two bird puppets, a blue jay and a red robin, expressing their doubts about the new show (like whether...
I just found the episode SesameMike was talking about, the one with Cookie being left in charge of Hooper's, from the German adaptation of Sesame Street which was originally a dub of our Sesame Street:

I hope we get to see this...
The early years, 1969-1974; back when the show was fresh and new, and had a raw, gritty look and feel to it, from the street set to the Muppets' physical appearances.
And because Gordon had an afro! :D
Had a few recently...
*Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie and Gonzo stuck in a broom closet, and trying to break out. Not sure what show this was from, or how they wound up in there (Gonzo or Fozzie must have done something stupid), but I do remember Floyd standing outside, saying something insulting to...
A few sketches I'm trying to find myself...
A quick insert involving Cookie Monster looking at a plate full of cookies, and gobling up the whole plate (Season 2)
Kermit talking about feet (mid-70s)
Ernie sings "Three of These Things Belong Together" with plates of cookies that keep...
Rachel Bitterman - it seems that every nemesis the Muppets faced in the movies were male, so this was a nice change for once.
 : "...and she's hot!"
He wasn't a villain, just someone who had problems. That was it.
I've just watched this show for the first time, seen all the episodes that have aired so far...it's so silly that I keep falling off on the floor with laughter. :)
Here's mine...
Eric Idle - appearing in a sketch where he argues (or at least tries to) with Oscar, in an allusion to the "Argument Sketch"
Harland Williams - I can see him appearing in a sketch with Cookie Monster, bellowing out "COOKIE" in the same manner as his way of saying "fudge"...
How about, for us Sesame geeks, a "Banned from Sesame Street" compilation DVD - all the sketches that have either been cut from the show or pulled off after its airing.
Bits like...
*The street scenes of Episode 847, where The Wicked Witch of the West appears (1976)
*"See the Signs"...
As Charleton Heston would say,
"Boobs don't kill people. People who are boobs kill people"
;)
(I got that quote from a video on Youtube, forgot the user's name though)
