Very neat find there, I have to say.
...But ol' Mr. Fumblenoggin (to quote a Toughpigs article) just had the nerve to get Cookie Monster and Oscar's names wrong!:mad:
Seeing how there's so many wide-angle lens shots in the video, I was kind of expecting Big Bird to scream, "My Wide Angle Lens is About to Burst!"
(Nostalgia Critic reference there. :p:laugh: )
Clever teaser trailer there. Funnily enough, I was staying in Singapore four months ago, and happened to be not too far away from Universal Studios. I didn't even go in because 1) I was on a business trip, 2) This was before it was announced that the park would be adding Sesame Street, and 3)...
I'm all happy that the latest movie's done so well, and that another one is on the way. But I can't help wonder how they're going to promote the next one. They'll have to think of something bigger, more elaborate. I mean, look at the first teaser trailer that came out in May of last year. That...
This one's my absolute favorite...

It's neat that the artist who submitted this was influenced by the earliest SS books. And it really captures the look and feel of SS in its earliest seasons (e.g. blue-nosed...
I just hope that if Disney does decide to re-release TMM and GMC on DVD and/or Blu-Ray, they'd have better special features (especially TMM - it'd be neat to see the deleted scenes and behind the scenes footage of the movie's finale, if such footage exists in the archives. Maybe a retrospective...
I had two rather odd dreams recently, one of which happened last night.
The first one involved a funny made-for-TV movie on the Sci-Fi channel that revolved around a group of friends (2 guys and 2 girls) who are trapped inside some evil lord's domain --- why they ended up there was beyond me...
I have not seen this, but after someone here brought it up in the "Creepiest puppets thread" here a while back, it made me want to track it down because it sounded very interesting. There was a short film that ran on Nickelodeon in the late 90s called "Attack of the Giant Vulture" that involved...
One thing I was kind of expecting was when the Muppets were going around trying to pitch their telethon, one of the things they'd do is sing a "cool island song" to melt the network executives' icy hearts, all of them wearing funky fruit hats.
(referencing the "Free Hat" episode of South Park...
If you all thought that that picture was effing scary (I didn't)...
Then take a look at what appears at 1:20:

I, like everyone else here, enjoyed the film lots and agree that it was the best of the post-Jim Muppet era. And while there were some things I would have loved to have been added in or explored, the movie was still enjoyable the way it turned out in the end. Because trust me, the movie would...
The Pakistani version, Sim Sim Hamara, has its own Youtube channel, with some preview clips:

Looks very fascinating. Interesting that some of the characters, particularly the humanoid ones, look very different from the typical Muppet style. I...
