The French, being closer to the cause, have a much more Patriotic version...
..
such Gaulish pride!
You could take out the music and redub it with "Do yo hear the people sing, singing the songs of angry men..." and it would it perfectly.
Because they weren't in direct competition for each other?
I'd take it as a win and move on. The Muppets deserve ONE Oscar at least, let's be glad they have one.
The only reason that's in the movie is because Amy Adams lobbied for it. I feel it's the one big problem with the movie's...
Scooter just might have worked as Scrooge's nephew, but I agree that he wouldn't be that good a Jim Hawkins.
Somehow, I don't like how they had Fred's party in MCC. It seemed like filler to overstate an obvious point. I wish they spent more time with Kermit and Piggy instead... at least...
I honestly thought that Muppet Wiki had a picture of it... but this was the best I could find...
Squint very hard, and you see Two rows of Scooter in the middle.
You think the French are bad... wait till you see what the Italians did to Rose of Versailles!
I especially love how one of the singers is CLEARLY a Linux user... and the part where the boy checks to see if Lady Oscar has any knickers on.
I walked by a Build a Bear in the Mall yesterday, and I saw them displaying a Kermit plush in the Hulk suit. So he can fit into the Avengers costumes, it looks like.
Just throwing it out there...
If it makes you feel any better... that was for the Chipmunks second movie. And it came out quite a while after it too. So it very well could be the case for the Muppets also.
Plus, there actually was no or not that much Chipmunk merchandise for the first movie. They had that little faith...
Animal has been made into lots of plushes...

That's been totally abandoned at this point. And quite honestly, the original film stands alone beautifully. Another one would be nice, but it could also be a disappointment. Lots of long awaited sequels to movies usually are. So I'm mixed.
Much like everything Disney ever did, the...
That one, according to the person that posted it, was a local show in Dallas.
As for Peppermint Park, there is literally NO info on it on the internet at all. If you look it up on Wikipedia, all you get is a brief entry about an actual amusement park. I'm wondering if there's some sort of...
Add Eduardo, and you got it. That's it exactly. THEM I have all four of. So to add to the irritation, I'm one short of a full set anyway.
Of course, I never ever saw the other CN gumball machine figures except for a couple of the Eds in some sort of arcade game where I couldn't win them.
In case you're wondering...
A) Sparticus and the Whatever the heck is the only actually French show here
B) The Pac-Man theme song is basically the same as the American one, only longer and with lyrics...
and C) The English Translation of the Pac-Man theme is:
Round like a ball
And more...
Hey! Wanna see my Chowder collection?
That's it. And they're like twice the size they really are. And I didn't even get to get Chowder, since the &^%^$$ Store I bought them from replaced the gumball machine with that stupid goo stuff or one of the crummy lead jewelry things. I...
There's apparently something called "Peppermint Place" (adding to the confusion here) which, while not as horrifying as Peppermint Park, still manages to be wrong on so many levels...
Watch this VERY pathetic attempt to be Sam and Friends...
Because you're the expert....
With most of the Soap Operas gone, are they even going to have those categories anymore?
There's roughly 4 types of programming on weekdays now. Talk Shows, Game Shows, Judge Shows, and Infomercials (especially on the Weekeneds)... and those last ones don't...
This is the weirdest thing I could find.
Yeah... so apparently, in France it was the cool thing to have music videos for cartoon openings with some guy dancing around and some lame 1980's state of the art video special effects.
I especially like time code 0:34, where Pac-Man actually...
CN completely screwed them over. I'm glad they're sort of back on their feet, but those were the two shows (with Flapjack) that were going to save the network. And they actually started to, until CN's idiot management did that whole "business is good, but it could be better"crap... which is...
