When they changed the format slightly with the number of the day and had him count sheep until an elephant pops up... I kinda liked that one. But that seemed like such a lost concept. What I really liked, though, was when The Count sang to the number of the day and the Countess shouted...
Doesn't matter about quality. It's the name that has the weight in Hollywood. Fraggle Rock was never made because the biggest name in production was the guy who did a third party CGI film that sorta did alright, but never comes up too much in conversations.
Simply put, the bigger the name...
I don't see why they didn't make a teaser a year in advance. I see those all the time. Saw one for Despicable Me 2 when I saw that stop motion Pirate movie in April, and that doesn't come out until 2013, July. Pixar usually has their teasers a year in advance, too. Captain America ended with...
It's true... it's supposedly getting a DVD release.

Somehow, $19.99 SRP seems steep, sounds like a MOD price, but the press release stated "in stores." Hopefully they'll follow this up with a DVD release of...
Much like what Jim Henson did, taking old recordings and miming puppets to them, only here, they took stock puppets and produced filler.
Peppermint Place's puppets are goony looking, but not half as disgustingly off as Peppermint Park...
here's another Peppermint Place skit...
Dull if...
I can't remember how many seasons were syndicated. I looked it up, and there's supposedly 78 episodes... 5 from season 1, 12 from season 2, 47 from season 3 (bringing the total to 65) and 13 more from season 4. All the rest were CBS Saturday morning episodes.
I'm sure there's a tell. You can't just print a comic on old paper and pass it off as an original edition. Someone will get caught.
Plus, I'm sure the tech is so expensive right now, it just couldn't pay for itself unless you flood the market.
Still, the implications for stop motion...
I'm torn. While I did like The Count and Cookie hosting the letter/numbers, I have to say I always felt that the Count counting at his organ was pretty dull and a missed concept. There's one where all the Count does in his intro is grunt for some reason. I swear they kept Jerry locked up in...
It's completely disappointing, but a tale as old as television. You never take the most wacky character and give them a spinoff. Sure, you can wind up with Penguins of Madagascar... you can also end up with Shaggy and Scooby-Doo Get a Clue (which I ashamedly admit I liked) or Postcards From...
I like Statler and Waldorf's look... not exactly fond of Fozzie. Too bad Roger didn't get a chance to do covers for all 4 issues... or at least give Amy Mebberson a call. I'm sure Shelli's busy with Adventure Time.
I've never seen Fanboy and ChumChum, but I've heard NOTHING but bad things about it. Seriously, Hollywood. Stop pretending you get geeks. Fat kid/guy obsessed with Super Heroes has been done all the way back in 1991 when the Simpsons first used Comic Book Guy. It's been tired ever since last...
I really don't think I totally comprehend this, but 3-D printing is supposedly how the movie Paranorman was made.
This could completely revolutionize stop motion movie making. That's far more interesting to me than having action figures.
They usually taste like the Starburst/Lollipop versions of anything... so it's probably more sugary than anything with a very subtle flavor that the corn doesn't totally overpower.
I rarely drink the milk the cereal leaves behind unless it's expressly chocolate. I've been using less and...
Quite a feat in and of itself, a cult film that's famous for flopping gets a sequel almost 30 years later, and now it's deemed good enough to be a cartoon series.

And a Mint is exactly what they'd cost too. I'd say upwards of well over a few thousand dollars anyway. I don't see anyone buying those unless they're rich collectors. The kind that would buy those large full sized Batman/Star Wars characters they sell at Sharper Image.
But the likelihood...
Which thread were we talking about Two and a Half Men sucking again? I can't find it, so it seems this is the best place to put it...
The show HAS been steadily losing viewers since Ashton came on, apparently. And it's being dumped on Thursday nights come September.
I couldn't agree more...
Ah... good. They probably just haven't shipped to my area yet.
You know, I actually DID see one of the UP sets, but I had NO idea how rare it was, and I never went back to pick it up. And I never ever saw it again.
The only thing that's really held up both the DC and Fraggle movies are the fact they need to partner with another production company, and there were no takers. FR needed a third business partner because the company I dare not speak its name of that Henson trusted was that pathetic.
Just the...
