The funny thing is, the movie was as far from an actual Stoller/Segal movie in terms of adulteress as possible. But they did manage to give a depth to the romantic storyline between Kermit and Piggy that was lost for quite some time. There's always a range of adult humor in the Muppets. Look at...
The only reason Gonzo had a smaller role in this movie was all about movie run time. Gonzo was prominent in the deleted scenes (so I've heard). But the merchandise is still as Gonzo centric as ever. I'm sure next film he'll have a much larger role... but it really feels the last one focused...
Well, I feel we already passed the best episode of the season, the Muffy's Classy Classics Club one. Muffy throwing a book into a fake fireplace will never get old.
If there's one thing I hate, it's endings of a show that peter out and just disappear. Dinosaurs was not one of those shows. I mean, killing off the entire cast to make a point? That's the same guts I'd expect from a show that said that both political parties are controlled by the same...
Exactly. It's not exactly the best way to go about it. But unlike SOPA, this actually came out of the need for something that could benefit us.
Just, they're doing it the wrong way.
And how do we know this is going to affect people in other countries? Like of you're being picked on by some...
You know what bugs me about the last season? Not even the fact that it took us 2 years to get episodes that were already shown all at once in Australia, but they're clearly airing them out of order.
There are all these little nuggets and Easter Eggs relating to other episodes that didn't air...
Funny you should mention cyber-bullying. This bill was created specifically as a response to that. It's not going to do much good, sure... but if there was a way to get public information about someone who's bullying you, that's going to discourage a LOT of Trolls and random jerks. If someone...
ARRRRGGGGHHH!!!!
Talk about extortion! They put the 2 missing episodes (Planet of the Turtleoids and Once Upon a Time Machine) as the bonus features for the show's worst season.
At least we got them... :sigh:
Yeah, but the shows are apples and oranges, especially the kind of contestants they get. The contestants on Jeopardy are usually calm, college educated trivia buffs who specifically get on Jeopardy for the show's sophistication. Not so much just then money, but to prove that they know a lot on...
I'm going to have to say, this is a bad solution, but a good idea in the long run.
Why?
This could theoretically bring about the end of the worst thing in the internet, Trolling.
Trolling is seriously killing the internet. Essentially, someone could come on to this site, bully everyone...
I don't see how that's so much being out of ideas so much as an idea I'm shocked they hadn't done sooner.
Me? I've had that problem with glasses before. They don't make frames like the ones that you had and you have to get something new anytime the frames give out or you lose those insipid...
Dragon Ball Kai was licensed out to Nicktoons. That's why. It would be an ideal place to have it uncut, but since it's been promised to Nicktoons, even the original DBZ is probably out of the question.
I don't see how they can license it out to both Nicktoons and 4Kids, but I don't see them...
I WANT it to be a prequel set on his home planet. I love ALF. I love the sitcom, but I find the cartoon to have such a superior concept behind it. But all those Melmacian puppets and the cost of puppeteers... that's going to be very expensive.
Still, I dug, but was a little disappointed by...
Kids of Vegans who force their vegan lifestyle on their kids? The couple times I actually ate tofu was awful. It's like a rancid mushroom with the texture of a rancid boiled and burnt egg.
I get carrots and fruits. I remember Bugs Bunny on snack sized packages of carrots with some sort of...
That's still better than seeing this Weegee in theaters...
But seriously.
Back to the movie merchandising...
If you think Battleship the game the movie the game is the worst movie merchandising of the year... here's the most counter intuitive thing being marketed to kids this year...
I really don't follow adult swim. I think Space Ghost, Harvey Birdman and, Venture Bros (what I've seen of it) are the best things that were ever on that network. Also dig Aqua Teen Hunger Force. But what's with all the live action weird shows? The thing with Chris Elliot looks pretty...
The driving force behind MLP (i.e. the one taking all the credit) did work on PPG... that's how she met and married Craig McCracken, right? Wrote a couple episodes, I think.
But yeah... sort of the same thing? Show that seems girly and or childish, but anyone can enjoy it?
I'd definitely...
You realize that's half the reason they made that movie, right? That's like the Transformers toys that look like the movie versions of themselves. Battleship was made for no other reason than to sell merchandise. And thankfully, it doesn't stray too far from a board game. Just Hasbro's...
I really hope that's the case. Like I said, I see the call for toy based movies to move a franchise along (even though Transformers should have had better people involved) as much as I see the need for cartoons based on toy lines. But ONLY if the story is strong enough on its own. G.I. Joe and...
