Madagascar has a following of kids that are too young to appreciate Brave. I'd think there would be stronger competition than a 40 dollar gap.
Still, Brave's a movie that's hard to market without giving away spoilers....
YET...
When I was at the Disney Store, every single piece of...
I don't think it was too much of a surprise that Brave did well, but the fact that the Abe Lincoln movie didn't get a stronger second. Even Madagascar was a distant second. brave really did blow away the competition.
Still, Abe Lincoln is yet another high concept movie that was intended for a...
All of that. Yes to all of that. It does make sense that the white backdrop is supposed to mimic those posters, The DVD, and some of the merchandise... but I'm not too crazy about the white backdrop on those either. Even if they had to use those boring old photos, they could have done...
Don't get me started on Wendy's Kids meal prizes. Unless they're something completely and utterly uniform, like the Looney Tunes Pen promotions, you could easily end up with an AMAZING MOC action figure or a freaking pinball game or worst of all, some IDIOTIC paper good masquerading as a board...
E-gad, I hope your stuff wins (uh... won... in the process of... uh)... We need that breathtaking style of yours on official merchandise. You know I follow you on DA... and it's way too good to just be fan art.
I've been saying that for years. I have the utmost respect for the reasons behind not eating animal products, but they also have to respect that you can't force a lifestyle upon someone else. Actually... you know what? They SHOULD accept that you can't force a lifestyle on someone else...
WOW... they REALLY don't want to show these things this year, do they? I guess that NCIS rerun is more important than the Daytime Emmys.
But my call for a Daytime Razzy is never going to be fulfilled... Maury Povich NEEDS a lifetime Achievement Razzy for continuing that garbage show of his...
Key Word is USED to. They also USED to be an effort. This is lazy. I think the last really good one was the circus side show one from a few years back. And quite frankly, I think that would have been better if it was just the posters without the posers pasted on them.
I didn't mind the...
I give them credit for giving Scooter his own month. And that's it.
Really... why is there some unwritten rule that Muppet calendars have to suck? Answer me that? There is NO effort on this part... white backgrounds? They can't even try to make the same 10-20 year old stock photos look...
It depends on if the schedule of the movie runs smoothly if we get the next one next year. I'm sure they'll pull it off. It will probably be another 2-3 year wait for the one after that if the second one is as successful or more (hopefully more) than the last one.
It's an episode this season in which Mother Goose was trying to come up with a new Nursery Rhyme and needed Abby and Elmo's help. It got quite competitive, and both got very annoyed at each other. There was tension, it was resolved. It worked. Much better than those repetitive guessing game...
And the fact that every cartoon character looked like that back then. Felix the Cat... that horrible Boscoe and Honey duo.... I've even seen Pre-War Japanese cartoons that use the SAME character designs. I saw a Mickey-ified Tanuki once.
Yakko, Wakko, and Dot are sorta based on that design...
I'd love to see Abby's magic go awry on Elmo and have Elmo flip out about it. Something where Elmo makes her cry, even though he doesn't mean it and feels sorry about it. "Rhyming Block" was the only time the characters had any real tension, and it WORKED.
Think about it this way. Why did...
I just don't get why there's SOOOO much hate for Sesame Street games. I mean, they aren't supposed to have intriguing game play for anyone over the age of 5 because they aren't designed for anyone over the age of five. I've played a few on emulators for research reasons, and I can see them...
I really do like Abby. She works best with certain characters, but there's that branding issue with Elmo and Abby. And I agree. There's something magical about the friendship Zoe and Elmo share. It's like Baby Bear and Telly or even Big Bird and Snuffy. Elmo and Abby are like Ernie and...
How come Fraggle Rock is so much better at organic female roles (ones played by females no less) than all the other Muppet stuff put together? And does The Muppet Show really need that? Those are the questions to think about.
