Reminder... Scooter was not recast (or even attempted to be recast) until VMX... and even then, he changed performers 2 more times. So really, Scooter didn't have an official recast until a couple years back. A line was more of what we got out of him since Richard died by then. You really...
There is only one big problem I have with the movie... Elmo's World-esque asides to the audience. Not like the ones Ernie and Bert do throughout the movie, and not like any of the asides any other Muppet has done in every Muppet Movie since the first. The "I need your help" pseudo-interactive...
How could I miss it? It's plastered all over every article about it ever. Jeez. That's the problem. Bay has the tastes of a slow witted 10 year old. No wonder why he's a bad director. 10 year olds shouldn't direct films.
I resign myself to the fact that, like everything else in the...
Roger has become one of my favorite comic book author/artists in such a short amount of time, and I thank his work on The Muppet Show Comic Book for giving me exposure to that. I've thumbed through a copy of "The Show Must Go On" at a bookstore, and that's some great indie comic stuff right...
This is good news, though I just want to know what direction the film is taking. I dug Project ALF, though there seemed to be a few missed opportunities here and there (some to circumstances beyond their control in a couple cases). I'd tend to think Paul wouldn't go for the idea of just making...
I'm keeping an open mind on that one. I don't care for the look or Tweenage April, but I'd have to actually see an episode to really judge the program. There are a LOT of shows I didn't care much for the look of, but I found enjoyable. Especially CGI ones.
Still, there's not enough for me...
Yeah... but i can't really blame Hulu for that. That's more or less the entertainment conglomerates shaking them down for even more money since more and more people are watching TV online. It's still better than a standard TV commercial break of 5 or 6 commercials.
What I really hate are the...
You haven't played one of those old NES/SNES/Game Boy games where they have various different "sports" or some racing challenge that requires you to have to mash buttons over and over (There's at least 2 Tiny Toons games like that, one for Genesis and one for Game Boy)? They're usually the ones...
Just adding to the conversation... that's why I was quoting. Sorry if it was a misconception.
These comics are the greatest thing to happen to the Muppets before the film and virals happened. I wish we could get Roger to write some scripts for a TV special or something... that's how good he...
(hits head violently on desk)
There are WAY better 1980's franchises that need a reboot too, you know. Stronger things with more of a cult following.
At least Saban should get back the rights of all the non-Marvel animated programming Disney owns. The world needs Eek the Cat on DVD.
Daily motion is worse... much, much worse. Anything and everything, even and especially unofficial stuff can get commercials even stopping the video half way to shove one in. And they freeze WORSE on DM. Only thing worse is Veoh.
HEH! Bay's Abomination has been production blocked!
I hope this means they're going to redo the film with ANOTHER production company... even if it's just a 90 minute episode of the new series theatrically.
If Paramount WANTS a TMNT movie franchise, they need to do it right. They need films...
I'm adding something new to the rant. I'm sure someone will be in agreement here. But you know what I hate? Video games that think running/walking means painfully repetitive button mashing. ababababababababababababababa.... that HURTS no matter what controller you're using. I HATE repetitive...
Listen...
I will always hold Jason Segal and the rest of the movie staff in the highest reguard of bringing the classic Muppets back. But Roger Langridge brought the soul of the original Muppet Show back... something no one else did, reguardless of the format. Heck, I'd say he even improved...
The thing that bugs me about M*U*S*H* is that I've found the other 2 cartoon segments of Uncle Croc, Fraidy Cat and Wacky and Packy, on those generic, cheap DVD's. But M*u*S*H* is always suspiciously absent.
Actually, if you can find a Mill Creek released 500 cartoons compilations, one of the...
